had eye of malice on my trickster , i removed the helmet the ones were i needed the lower resistence were to reistant and got even more tanky with the helmet effect, maybe elementalist can cope that with the extra exposure from adcendancy + scourched from the boots ( i want them too but no maven progression yet)

I'm not using any sound echo thing, not really sure what you're referencing here. Do you have a timestamp? Some mtx/hideouts in the game have some echo effects added.
I'm running doomblast ignite with vaal flameblast 6 link for bosses. Probably the best build I've ever played the last 4 leagues. Doomblast ignite spread is insane and the build is ultra tanky on top. But I love your build as well, I'm just personally a trap hater, but this is a ME problem

Okay Just for information. I finished my Atlas on day 1 saturday evening and farmed my Headhunter on day 2-3 with the frostblink build and i still have Gear Worth Like 250 Chaos on. Damage lsnt that high with that Low Budget but it does all it should do. A good leaguestart! Ty for zhe build subtractem. Again a good start with frostblink ❤
how different is the damage compared to the build from maxroll guide? I'm currently with a 6-link frostblink and it lacks some damage against pinnacle bosses

I’ve been wondering about this skill for a few leagues now. I’ve noticed unlinked frostblink deleting trash mobs and wondered if it was viable as a main skill.
I play your build with Ice Nova instead of Frost Blink and it was really helpful to have your videos and thoughts while gearing up. Thank you for that. You mentioned that you are looking for a new build because this is 'only' a league starter build, do you think there is a way to make this type of build into something really strong on high budget? Like actually using throughout the league or would you recommand to step away because other builds have way higher potential?
I have used this on league start once and as a second character in a couple leagues. During this league and the last league I noticed that Frostblink was bouncing off the packs rather than landing in them often. I was curious if you have noticed this much? Or am I just missing something that I need to change in order to fix this behavior?
@@subtractem No I was using normal frostblink. Actually it wasn't just me, but my nephew and I both got the same result. The first time I played this build I really loved it and I don't remember having any issues with "bouncing off". I went to play it again and that next time I leveled up when I was mapping a very odd thing started happening where when I frostblinked into a pack of monsters instead of landing within the pack I would land to one side of the pack or to the other side of the pack but not inside the pack. I wonder if it has to do with the fact I'm a console (xbox) player. I may try the same build on the PC and see if it has a similar behavior. If so maybe I can ask that same question of GGG. Love the build, but got to a problem. When trying to run with the 4 mana reservation buffs, i can only get 3 of them on. Since poe calculate the numbers so they end up being 100,01%. Do you have some dolution for this issue?
You press the button to activate Malevolence while using Divine Blessing, it isn't getting triggered. You can use that once you have EB, and it will eat your ES before mana, but still pay the cost in the amount based on the maximum mana you have. You automate Steelskin with the Automation Support.
leaguestarted trickster ssf landed on cold dot while getting some gear... completed atlas and fought the quest bosses ( like 5-8min) on a 5 link. and i must say cold dot feels so bad.. it would require in my oppinion a rework or 100% dmg buff to all of them feel good in this post archnemesis poe... . even if you use 2-3 sources of cold dot it feels bad vs bosses and even while mapping i started skipping cold/ chill resistent rares because fighting them felt lika a waste of time. Not sure maybe i farm regrets level some other gems and try something else^^. hope for some love to underrated achchetypes... ( ed contageon is bad too for many years now). Iam the only one playing vortex it seems in ssf on lvl 90+ that should be an indikator for how bad theese skills are today ( rip ele overload). Maybe archmage dd next because combining op reworked gem with op dd could be a fun new experience.
yah cold dot is not good right now and vortex got nuked with changes to left click. ignite is still baller tho and his frost blink build is actually super comfy. but i mean, so is every ignite build. wave of conviction or DD or frost blink...all the ignite builds are so good rn.

You see it if you import into PoB. Pobb.in doesn't show disabled gems (I have steelskin turned off so it doesn't inflate numbers). The passives are the same.
NOOB CRAFTING QUESTION>>>> With the beast craft; can you use the two beasts on a simple 1 or 2 socket item and will it add all 6 linked or do you first need to get it up to 6 sockets THEN pop the craft??? @@LogicUnpublishable Also, based on the wording, it just does links, not sockets. Since it reads "modifies an item to have the maximum possible links", this implies it needs to have the sockets to contain those links. The maximum possible links on a 4 socket item is 3 (a link between each socket)
I'm newish to poe, but decided to start this league with your build. Super fun so far! Question though, how do you get so many auras working? I'm level 71 with more mana than you in the video, but can only get 3 auras working. I must be missing something, just can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance!
There is always missing info in most builds /guides as they assume you know as much as them. They never really explain in detail how they go from 1,000 DPS to 6-100 million DPS. And that's my wall also. Alot of it is advanced crafting !!! Plus they play 10-20 hours a day ! lol
Think his build guide took us thru Act 5 in detail, then said nothing much changes thru Act 10, then......nothing ...else ! Currently in Act 9 and had to make changes to survive. Old saying, dying like a little B......but used to that.

However, it also came with 43% fire res that I didn't need .. and the other day I heard you talking about a res swapping craft using juice ... so wham-fucking-bam I have a juicy new weapon, res is all good, and I'm about to purchase the boots! I tried this build in SSF and just started maps, the damage is okay but I'm extremely squishy. Granted this is to be expected because my gear is mostly from like act 6. For some reason literally nothing useful is dropping for me seemingly anywhere.
The damage should be exceptional for a league starter. Early maps you should still be dual wielding two scepters with crafted fire damage on them, this can take you to early red maps even if you really want.
@@subtractem Oh yeah I don't mean to make it sound like it's the fault of the build, more my luck with drops has been beyond abysmal. The downside of being squishy means if the frostblink doesn't kill something quickly, it's gonna hit me hard because I got close to it (or blinked close to it).
@@subtractem I don't think my issues are due to the build itself, aside from how positioning works out when you use frostblink for clear. Being as squishy as I currently am getting close to mobs to use frostblink or frostblinking into packs (or if they're very tanky and still alive after it) then it can spell trouble. I think the problem is my luck with drops altogether this league so far.
Have you updated the PoB to the new Gem setup you are using? Mine looks different than what you have now. Im having a terrible league, i'm sure the build is great, its just bad luck finding things. lol
is it maybe worth now just to link both curses to bane together with enhance that will scale increased curse effect on bane quality to counteract the less curse effect? maybe this frees up the need to press 2 curses on every tanky enemy.

Bleed sure hits hard this league and on a build that counts on es - recharge every dot is a life risk so i went for bleed avoidance to bad it costs like 5 passive points and a jewel slot maybe with better rolls i can get it done with 2 jewels. good to see your build proved solid maybe when iam bored of the ssf experience i start trade later this week and give good old ignite a revisit.
I dropped 1 or 2 of the "required" unique helmet while completing Atlas, and the build functions great without it.The helmet is just a massive DPS increase.

yea eye of malice is an elementalist item, very hard to reliably shred 50+ resistances without the exposure effect.

What a huge difference Legacy of Fury makes! Just ran my first map with it. Helps that it's actually a movespeed upgrade over my old boots too...

Yeah absolutely no idea. Could be a targeting issue with controller I guess? Never happened with a mouse for me.

Maybe your vitality level is too high for your current mana? Also make sure your malevolence is on divine blessing.
How do you trigger Malevolence with divine blessing? How do you automate steelskin? Didn't see that in your POB.

how do you get a quality frost blink? i tried the gem cutter vendor and it didnt work. is it only through lab or gem cutter raw
Vendor recipie no longer works, have to do either of the 2 other methods you mentioned.
When is the time to start using eye of malice? Is it when you get exposure on gloves? I don't want to fuck up and increase monster res lol
You can use it as soon as the enemies resistances would be negative.

Get it up to a 6 socket first. I haven't had the balls to hard confirm it, but another video maker specifically 6 socketed his item first.

Yeah res is super tough with the boots. The clear gets so good though.

the pob in the description is what i currently have. i wouldnt change the league start pob in the guide for what i have right now.

Unfortunately bane is a less multiplier so you cant really fully counter it. Also lose two more gem sockets.

Take 7.5% more damage, no evasion, have to use life mastery. I strongly prefer LC.
