Ohtani is proven clean and FBI announced Ohtani as the victim after FBI, Home Security Service, and Internal Revenue Investigation released a 37 pages reports after investigated Ohtani 's 4~5 years of Ohtani's internet communication records with Ippei interpretor. Ippei stole 16m from Ohtani's bank account! When Ohtani first came to US in 2018, Ippei helped Ohtani to open bank account for Angels salary. Since then Ippei got access of this bank account and lied to Ohtani's agent and agent's accountant that Ohtani wanted to keep the account private while Ohtani thought his agent and accountant were having an eye and checking on his account. Since Ohtani has a lot of endorsement money (98m USD in'23) and other incomes and he hardly spend money in daily life, Ohtani never login in his salary's bank account. Ippei knew well and he changed all contacts of Ohtani's salary account to Ippei's own phone and mailing address. Ippei in 2021 started to stole money from Ohtani's account and transferred money to Ippei's bookie for Ippei's gambling debt payments. When ESPN requested about Ohtani's bank transfers to the illegal bookie, Ippei lied to Ohtani's agent(who communicated everything through Ippei and never hired any other Japanese interpretor to talk to Ohtani till Ohtani called him up directly and told him Ippei lied through other Interpretor). Ippei lied to Ohtani's agent, ESPN reporter/staffs, Dodgers topps, and all Dodgers teammates & coaches in after 1st game team meeting of Seoul series that Ohtani covered him for paying a number of payments to Ippei's bookie. Yet Ohtani didn't know Ippei was gambling illegally and lied to everyone in the meeting because Ippei was talking in English only in that meeting and Ohtani couldn't understand many English terms though Ohtani sensed something wrong and concerning him. Ohtani tried to understand what happened through anothet interpretor in the bus to hotel, yet Ippei told Ohtani to wait till back to hotel to talk to Ohtani personally. Ippei then in the Seoul hotel admitted to Ohtani that Ippei stole money from Ohtani's account to pay Ippei's bookie. It's the first time then Ohtani heard about Ippei bet and stole money from Ohtani's account Ippei even asked Ohtani to COVER Ippei's lies and tried to convince Ohtani to lie along Ippei's story. However, Ohtani immediately refused Ippei and called Ohtani's agent who's in same hotel to come and later joined meeting with Ohtani agent's lawer, Ohtani's emergency lawyer, snd Ippei's wife (who first find out Ippei's lies at this point). Immediately Dodgers tops fired Ippei after discovering Ippei lied to all people and stole millions of money from Ohtani's bank account. I personally able to read and list to Japanese and English. So I probably get a clearer picture than some US reporters and radio MC who don't. In addition, thete is a biased US reporter who has Japanese background, he is an Angel reporter and tried to use Ohtani to sell his book. Yet this reporter keeps spreading conspiracy theories of Ohtani and tries to mislead readers. I hope you are not one of those and hope you would read the FBI report before your next comment since you know good enough English to comprehend the report.

As a raptors fan his salary is $450,000. You spend your career trying to make into the nba and now this. So sad.
450k minus agent fees and taxes. Dude he was playing for like 200k a year. He made a million gambling. Plus his brother plays for Denver nuggets. Plus he placed bets in Colorado. Trust men his brother will float him son cash soon to keep betting
Jontay should have hired an "interpreter"...
Also let’s not forget that even still Florida state didn’t deserve to make the CFP
That's what keeps them awake at night ? Naah. What keeps them awake at night is how to extract more money from gambling sites as sponsors 😂
Yo, this video I just watched was bookended by fanduel ads.
Threw away millions for peanuts .........foolish
How about yhese tefs that clealy make calls to favor a team
WHAT A WAY TO HELP SOMEONE WITH AN ADDICTION MR. ADAM SILVER !
NIL, transfer portal, sports betting. College and professional. Anyone who disagrees is naive. I’ll make a bet with anyone…. I bet he’s not the only one.
Gambling is just as addictive as drugs or alcohol. If he was a drug addict or an alcoholic people wouldn’t be calling him stupid, they would say he needs help.
Also, it’s hard to take Rich seriously with his Otani take.
The NBA can’t have players rigging games… That’s the ref’s job.
*points at the free throw disparity between The Lakers and the rest of the league*
I agree w/ rich. Honestly.
"It's sad, it's so sad." But not the NBA teaming up with betting that's ruining god knows how many lives isn't sad enough to talk about.
The advice should be to not be cheap and get an interpreter.
You REALLY believe other players haven’t done the same thing or Referees & gotten away with it 😂 rich can be so gullible.
Whatever happened to the Ohtani investigation?
Federal charges have been brought against the interpreter.
@@austinstice3512 Have you ever known an interpreter to have access to someone's bank accounts?
This is all very convenient.
we got a fall guy case closed.
@ariea.devalois1564 The 37 page document is on line with all the details. Read it, it's pretty interesting. If after reading that you are still skeptical then nothing will change your mind.
@austinstice3512 they don't know how to read 😂
I 100% blame ADAM SILVER - he's a scoundrel who has sold the league to sports gambling companies
Lions cowboys playoff game in Dallas as I watched it was clear & present that the officials refs responsible for the safety & integrity of the game were not going to allow Detroit Lions to win in Dallas against cowboys
Nobody cares if he's playing or not. He averages just 3.7 points a game. I looked it up. He's a non factor. He's such an embarrassment to the game that anything he would say or do people would probably bet the opposite... No one's taking a guy averaging 3 points a game seriously
The sports betting companies are I assure you.
@@scarpfishThe bookies said Why are people betting on this scrub? Which points to why do people care about him....
There goes my under lock.
If he had an interpreter he could've just said he didn't understand.
what a fool, doesnt he know he dont have the clout to get away with it like ohtani?
It's the first time then Ohtani heard about Ippei bet and stole money from Ohtani's account
Ippei even asked Ohtani to COVER Ippei's lies and tried to convince Ohtani to lie along Ippei's story.
Or get an interpreter
What did Ohtani do??
@@kingrama2727 Nothing. He was cleared by three different federal agencies.
@@twmonkeyboy that’s what I thought, I just wonder why these people keep saying Ohtani got away with something…
He took no loss. He would of been waived by next season. Nba careers are 1-2 years at most these days if you not producing
He can play in Europe and make money there if he wants to. I am a Raptors fan and he was not an NBA player. He lost his chance to make money in the G league though. The man shot his shot. I find it hilarious that he did not think there would be massive red flags though.
He's not going to be playing anywhere. Nobody will touch this guy. He can't be trusted, that he won't do this to whatever team if given another chance. Also he's most likely going to be indicted by the Federal Government for Conspiracy to Commit Fraud. This is a big deal, it's a felony. A kin to Insider trading. Federal Offense.
He should work at a factory for $20 an hour and see how he like it.
Gambling is created for you to lose and even when you win, you will somehow lose anyways. Just look how much sports gambling is in the media bad news these days. I mean it’s easier than ever rn. I lost 20k after I lost 5k and got it back in a few weeks after being away a year. It’s so easy to just do this and think you’re gonna make it big
Only owners x GM's are allowed to tank...
My only question is, his bro Mike got $200M and couldn't give him, like just $100K? How u gonna have a brother that makes $40M a year, and you betting games at $500?
Didn’t Boban just do the same thing with chicken nuggets?
If players are giving insider injury information to sports books what are the average Joe employees doing?
I don't like how often TJ gets interrupted. Let TJ talk please.
" Jontay " lol
Every pro athlete and ref are completely legit. This never happens.
This is the future. Gambling addiction is going to increase. The ban will not stop this from happening again. Predictable behavior but these leagues will claim ignorance. We didn’t know this would happen 😂😂😂😂
If the MLB interpreter was gambling what makes us think he got the money 💰!! Othani knows the over /under!!
The DOJ, IRS and Homeland Security have concluded Ohtani is innocent. If you can't stand it, all you have to do is prove them all wrong. Plain and simple.
you get a lifetime ban for gambling but you can wave guns around repeatedly and do all kinds of dirty s***
One to to gamble it’s another to gamble on your own team too lose…
I'm sure this is the first time a player has gambled on their game since Pete Rose. No big deal.
Exactly 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah thousands of athletes in pro sports to bet on, this never happens.
