All it takes is an athlete getting in with the wrong people. They get something on that athlete. Then they "compromise" for this athlete saying they can get off the hook by simply just doing these things in a few instances to make good. When in reality those people could have targeted the athlete with that very end in mind. And with so many "legit" parlors ready to take money for bet there's infinite way to get a bet down. There's just too much temptation with the human element involved, and its bad for sports that they're now just straight up in bed with and advertising for these betting outlets.
Saying sports bettinf is making it murkier and murkier, is dumb, cause its actually high lighting the bad shit. Its not done in back alleys now. Its done online and shit gets caught fast as shit now.
