  • Finally the biggest baddest raptor makes its long awaited debut in BoTM!! And the wait was worth it!! It’s a beautiful sculpted figure with tons of good articulation. Seriously the sculpt work on the feathers is amazing. #utahraptor is a fantastic to your ever growing #dinosaur collection.

    I cannot wait to get this guy! However, I’m more excited for that Achillobator! Gonna take the Achillo to the Grand Canyon for some photo shoots once it arrives since it’s colors are based on the California Condor

      Jealous you get to go to Grand Canyon. One day I’ll get there.

      @@DinoScreamReviews You definitely should, it’s a beautiful place! My grandma hikes there all the time so when she goes again (and when I have the figure) I’ll see if she can take me with her

    THANK YOU for showcasing the updated hinged feet, I was hoping to see it in motion lol. Also agree on the knees… it can be engineered to bend further, even with a single hinge, but that's a subject for another day. Still, cant wait to have this figure in hand as I too have it on pre-order. Lastly, seeing that classic JP Utahraptor is a throw back from WAY back lol (also had one) 😅🦖

    Thank you for the review. I love the look of the BotM Utahraptor but was worried it would be too large for me, like the size of the Jurassic T. rex.

    Dinosaurs lived in diverse environments, from deserts to forests. Which habitat do you think was the most challenging for them?

      Honestly, Schleich at one time was…good enough. They are good sacrificial toys to let little kids play with so they’d leave your good dino figures alone!😅
      But nowadays, the new figures are just all bad…😛

      @@DinoScreamReviews I have Schleich's Dunkleosteus and I really like it. I can't speak for the rest of the line, but that one is worth checking out. It's a decent size, nice sculpt/paint, and even has an articulated jaw.

    I think Schleich has some hits, like their Kaprosuchus is pretty good

    Can you do a size comparison with the medium sized tyrannosaurs with the Achillobator? On paper these two raptors and the medium sized tyrannosaurs are very similar in size, and i'm curious how they stack up

    Does its thighs move forward much? You've shown them moving backwards quite far but only a few degrees to the front. If that is the case then I hope they can work on the thighs more and get a better range for their Deinonychus figure.

    • @DinoScreamReviews
      @DinoScreamReviews  13 днів тому

      The torso is a little too thick for the legs to move forward without a ton of resistance unfortunately. Maybe over time when the joints get broken in it’ll be easier.
