Hi Priya and thank you for your comment. First of all, I would suggest that you update to the latest OS on both of your phones (Android and iPhone) first and then make sure that both phones are fully charged and then start using move to iOS. I hope this solves your problem.

Hey there and thank you for your comment! To answer your question, I have to tell you there are multiple ways to do that after move to iOS if those files are not transferred. For example your notes can be reached via Google Keep like your notes or etc. your documents can be transferred as well via USB and use Files in iOS which is like Directories to put your files. There are other methods like shareit to transfer your data between devices.

The issue I have is it shows about 4 hrs to complete yet 6 hrs later it still had an hrs to go that stopped counting down after about 30min. The other time I tried it told 17+ hrs. Twice I tried it with same time frame. And both was connected to the same wifi network. I'm even considering going to istore...
Ok I understand. Actually I am not sure if this is the case, but I would try this as well like connecting both phones to the same WiFi but this time to a WiFi with a high speed and then I would wait till it finishes and try not to let the screen turns off. This is what came to my mind as I have done the same for myself. I have two internet connections, but I connected them to the faster one.

If you're moving from an Android phone to an iPhone, you can transfer your account information, profile photo, individual chats, group chats, chat history, media, and settings. You can’t transfer your call history or display name.
Migrate from Android to iPhone
1.
Open the Move to iOS app on your Android phone and follow the on-screen prompts.
2.
A code will be displayed on your iPhone. When prompted, enter the code on your Android phone.
3.
Tap Continue and follow the on-screen prompts.
4.
Select WhatsApp on the Transfer Data screen.
5.
Tap START on your Android phone, and wait for WhatsApp to prepare the data for export. You’ll be signed out from your Android phone once the data is prepared.
6.
Tap NEXT to return to the Move to iOS app.
7.
Tap CONTINUE to transfer the data from your Android phone to your iPhone and wait for Move to iOS to confirm the transfer is complete.
8.
Install the latest version of WhatsApp from the App Store.
9.
Open WhatsApp and log in using the same phone number used on your old device.
10.
Tap Start when prompted, and allow the process to complete.

If you have tried theabove mentioned methods and it didn't work, this is what happens normally when entering your phone number in the new WhatsApp (WhatsApp on your new phone). When you enter the number, WhatsApp will be disconnected from your old phone (Android), and then it will be available on your new phone(iPhone). If you have already made a backup, it asks you if it restores from your backup and then it should bring back your WhatsApp history

You App will be downloaded with the method I showed in this video, however you should backup your WhatsApp on your Android device, and then when you want to move to iOS you can choose the last date of your WhatsApp backup to be sure every chats and groups will be there.

So in your case, if you have still access to your Android Phone, I would reset factory my iPhone as it becomes like a new iPhone and then I would use move to iOS just like what I have shown in this video. However you may lose some of the data created on your iPhone during these 4 days.

Till then, I have a suggestion for you about WhatsApp. You can backup your WhatsApp whiting its app(no matter how much it has data), and then when you register (put your number) the WhatsApp in your new phone, it will be deactivated in your previous phone, and in your new phone you can see the backups and then you can choose the one that you want and recover your data in WhatsApp. Hope it would solve your problem.

If you have backup of some of your data on your laptop or pc, like photos or media that can be transferred to your iPhone. 2nd is doing these things manually, like installing the apps, and transferring contacts via SIM card (copy on SIM) or Bluetooth and etc.
