I had a hanging idle on the 250sx I just finished. Carb was squeaky clean and freshly rebuilt too. Even though the throttle cable seemed fine, I replaced it and my hanging idle went away. That could be your issue too. Keep up the good work.
Love the 2genR, I did not really need them on this machine as I thought I might. I did end up needed them on the lt250r, they hold the clutch basket still so you can loosen the main bolt
First and Foremost, Watching Your Videos Give Me the Confidence to Go Out in My Garage and Work on My Quads! Are them back Tires, Lawn Mower tires? Are the Forks supposed to be in that area of the Triple Tree? Or should they be lower, making the front end higher I Don't know, so I'm asking!
Yes on both accoints, a lot of flat track racers lower their machines by lowering the forks and running smaller tires. The turf tires work great on hard packed tracks.
If my carb wasn’t really dirty at all and had gas still in it after I drove the machine a month ago and now it won’t start and I have spar but wont start do you think my jet could be clogged ? Thanks in advance
Hi trystan. If it was running fine and it set for a month. You say you have spark. How much fuel is in the tank?. Do you have a fuel filter? If so sediment can gather there. Pull the air filter spray just a little carb cleaner in the carb and try to start it. If it starts up you have a clogged fule system: tank, filter, line or carb itself. If it does not start, you need to triple check spark. And compression.
Oh that stinks 223cycles only does honda stuff. I just bought 85 suzuki lt50 and was going to order carb kit from them but I guess not. Oh well I did look though
223cycles does carbs for all brands. And parts for most. Im not sure what your looking for, but a quick email to curtie should find you what your looking for.

"The Awesome Three"

Wire wheeling those discs is exactly what I’d do myself.
I just wanted to be clear, some folks might think you can grind on them.
@@Mrcbuilds yeah totally understandable. I have 4 bench grinders set up mixture of wire, grinding, buffing, sharpening wheels lol
Oh and nice one 👍
Thanks ben!

I almost named mine Goldilocks but I think I'm gonna name mine parole
Theres a story there, good name.
That bike probably needs crank seals. It seems a little extra smokey and the rev seams to hang
Im sure a leak down test would be a good idea.
Thoughts on pushing out the front wheel (dunes only) (flipping the forks side to side)???
For a shoet track like mine the shorter wheel base feels good, look at my kawi and its so much long and handling is way different in the corners.
Looks great. Name it fun times
It is that for sure
Red Pilled 💊
Matrix, nice
King Ping
Nice name thanks
Aweee man what a blessing. Hope you enjoy the heck outta that bike. You done a great job.

Imagine if someone just would have taken care of it since 83. Not that hard to do! Looking good now.
Well, if they had,i couldnt have afforded it. Lol so i guess it worked out for the best.
4ft level
I had a feeling you lowered the front end to put 18's on the rear, no wonder you ran out of gears on the long straight. Looks and sounds great.
Thank you. Yep that was the plan, flat track racer style.
