The NYC Couple if you are really interested in this art, it s called "Ebru" and I really recommend you to watch all "Garip Ay" videos on UA-cam. He may be the best artist in Ebru art. Check this video first ua-cam.com/video/4dKy7HNU4vk/v-deo.html
The tree is Mimosa it is in America also and the roots goes everywhere very close to the surface. Eventhough the flower is pretty some people dislike them in their yards because if the roots.
The tree or shrub is either the Calliandra Surinamensis also called the Pink powder puff, or the Albizia Julibrissin, also called the Mimosa tree. You can buy them in the US as well.
hahaha unicorn tale tree and Ashley wants to plant it everywhere it is a unique feeling when you come to a country for second time and wanna look back and see what you missed to explore
Bersis Devrim Thanks. I'd never seen that type of art before. I was actually more impressed by the process of creating that piece of art than the finished product. Sort of reminded me of how some baristas will create artwork when preparing coffee-type drinks, but ebru takes that to a whole other level. So amazing.
I was curious about the video when i see "the Istanbul" in the title. It's not my city but its in my country :) And i love the video when i see a guy at the background while he plays with a random street animal at 0:34. I think that is the best example for the pure love. Some people say '' If a street animal is not running away from you, live there; Because your neighbors are beautiful people. "
the 6 towers are called six minarets. It's rare to have 6 for a mosque, I learned it from a free tour provided by Turkish Airline during my stop over in 2017. I can't wait to check out the newest, world biggest airport in a few days, my 3rd visit to Istanbul.
You guys are amazing tour guides. What a fantastic and beautiful city. I’m blown away by Istambul’s beauty. I’ve always been fascinated by its history. Thanks! Just one thing...apple? Nooo! Try the local flavours. Be adventurous Ash.😉👍
How did I miss this yesterday?! Taking a stroll around an amazing city... what a way to spend time, AND learn something about the history?! Great day guys!! Great vlog!!
I don't know if you have visited these places, but I would recommend going to Canakkale. The ruins of Troy are near the city and so is Gallipoli. I found the audio guide for Troy to be extremely helpful.
As i know Istanbul was officially called "Konstantiniyye" by the Ottoman in the records. It was Turkish republic who changed it to Istanbul officially.
It's so cool to see you guys in the places I've been before. Hope you like all part of your trip and hope you would meet good people. 🙃 I would really want to come and see you but I'm in different city of Turkey atm. Enjoy your vacation. Let the peace and love be with you! 😍🇹🇷
Fatih Kürkçü while there are too many beautiful things aroung camlica hill there is nothing special in aydos. So camlica is a good choice. Aydos sucks...
You guys are so real, fun and unpretentious. Love how you always want to know the story behind every place and things you see. Keep travelling and keep beinn as awsome as you are. 😁😋🙂
Welcome to Turkey. You guys are incredible. I love to watch your travel vlogs, especially at Turkey. So just enjoy there and let us see your adventures for your turkish subscribers.. :)
You should visit Hagia Yorgi Church its in Büyükada. There is a Restaurant beside that Hagia Yorgi Church and have amazing view and very delicious foods. But you shouldn't go when its too hot outside :)
Amazing guys! Learnt so much about Istanbul from this video. Absolutely love it how you have so many facts in your videos! Looking forward to you returning with even more info for us. Your laugh while smoking is amazing Ash 😂
I love how upbeat you both are even though I'm sure you ran into some Turkish peeps that are missing basic manners. Love your videos. Keep em coming! :)
I've been binge watching your videos the last two days. Love your channel, guys! You have a new fan! Any plans for Southeast Asia in the future? That would be some cool videos.
If you are in Kadıköy, you should go to Ciğerci Hulusi for eat ciğer. And you can go to Büyükada by ship, eat there icecream in Roma Dondurmacısı where opposite street to pier. It is amazing
The unicorn tree is a type of Mimosa. Specifically, Albizia Julibrissin or Persian silk tree/pink silk tree. Although calling it Mimosa is incorrect because Mimosa and Albizia are different genera, but their flowers are somewhat similar, so it's often called Mimosa
Actually it was renamed Istanbul by Ataturk, with the creation of the republic when the capital was also switched to Ankara. The Ottomans still used the name Constantinople or rather a Turkish version of it Konstantiniye. The name changing back in 1453 is a common misconception.
The city was not called as Istanbul untill the late of 1920's. Its called Konstantiniyye along whit the other names such as Islambol, Dersaadet, Istanbul, Stanbol, Konstantinopolis, Stanponis etc. Btw whit the -iyye part of the Konstaniniyye word, it can be translated roughly as "Constantin's". Note: Just wanted to give a little info, i'm not after a stupid fight :)
oh yeah you guys are pretty nice and funny , I cheer up during the all video while watching it , please make more videos about Istanbul ♥ lots of love from me :)
Guys, videos are amazing but I thiink you are spending your time vainly or may be you have much time to travel, you should visit PANORAMA ISTANBUL, OTAGTEPE to see wonderful Istanbul view, best place to see istanbul ever never!, Ortaköy, All Palaces, basilica cistern, Princess islands, meiden's tower, Rumelian castle, Anatolian castle, penthouse of sapphire tower to see all istanbul view, Sariyer district for tea, coffee something like that, Cengelkoy tea garden like Moda tea garden but better and other places. Only recommendation :)) keep calm and share videos from lovely Istanbul. :D
I love all your videos so much guys. Especially as a half german /half turkish guy watching you travel through Turkey /Istanbul :) You are always friendly, full of energy and I hope I will meet you both someday. :)

Hi men, how are you ? I hope you are well! I have a question about your camera, what is the brand and model number, can you share with me ? thanks in advance.
yes, I am going to Canakkale, Izmir, Fethiye to joint a Gulet to Demre. Also joint a boat tour to 12 Islands before Mamaris, then to Pamukkale, Cappadocia, finally Istanbul.
İpek Güneş yeah Ankara is amazing, especially on these weeks of the year there is a high chance of experiencing military intervention and tanks on the highway.
WΔY ΔWΔY I am very happy, my dear laughing place is a great documentary has been very thankful I wish I would have come to you I am living in istanbul but you are very sweet lady 👍💚💋

it reminded me of latte foam designs

Stunning to watch this in May 2020, the scene where they are told by the Turkish coffee of their future bad fortune. Prophetic.
The tree or shrub is either the Calliandra Surinamensis also called the Pink powder puff, or the Albizia Julibrissin, also called the Mimosa tree. You can buy them in the US as well.
Istanbul is my favorite city in the world. So many reasons for saying that.
hahaha unicorn tale tree

That watery artistic creation at 4:59 is so beautiful.

You guys should see Çamlıca hill. Çamlıca hill is the higgest hill in İstanbul. You can see the whole city from there
Selim Berk Yakar you are wrong. The highest hill of Istanbul is Aydos.
Fatih Kürkçü while there are too many beautiful things aroung camlica hill there is nothing special in aydos. So camlica is a good choice. Aydos sucks...
The pretty pink flowers are from a MIMOSA tree. We also have them in the southwest US. :)

What happens with the hooka? Is it just for the taste or does it give you a buzz? Is it similar to smoking, cooling on your throat?
It's mostly flavor. And there isn't a ton of nicotine... but after two hours of it, even I am a bit over it. :p /J
