Roger has been really sensitive to spices. I dont know how your boyfriend is reacting to things, but perhaps leave out the red pepper flakes? Prayers for a full recovery for him!!
My girlfriend in GA loves this soup but I have never made it. Now I want to make it! Thanks for explaining the headspace reasoning, bc you made sense for some other overflows I've had in the past. I just love you Lorrie! You have been the best canning teacher ever! PLUS you are a super model thst the joy of the Lord is your strength. Thanks for the editing & producing Roger! Hugs, love, & prayers for you both! Many Blessings from Deborah in West Virginia! 🙏🏻🧡
Bless you dear Deborah!! God is definitely the center of our lives....our cornerstone....and our joy!! We honestly LOVE this soup! Sure hope you have the chance to give it a try. So yummy!! Thank you so much for your always kind and loving words! You have been one of my biggest encouragers and supporters here on youtube. You have often given me the courage to continue sharing and teaching. For that, my dear sweet friend....I can never say THANK YOU enough!!
I absolutely LOVED Olive Garden’s Zuppa Tuscany Soup, and I found a copy cat recipe so I could make it at home! But this recipe of yours, is amazing, and I can make 6-7 quarts and have it at my fingertips for months or even years to come is AMAZING! Thank you so much for this video, Lorrie!
It is a vintage opener called "Pry A Lid" you can sometimes find them in thrift stores or at garage sales.... The For Jars company is newly manufacturing an opener just like this also. I LOVE this opener!
Someone finally explained WHY no milk or cream in soup instead of "this alphabet agency said so" Thank you for that. It makes total sense. I wonder if fennel (anise) bulb chopped would work in this recipe?
You are a great natural teacher. We are supposed to get our 1st Aldi's stores here in Las Vegas, NV soon. I miss Aldi's and their quality products
So excited to make this!!! ❤❤❤
My boyfriend is recovering from throat cancer so soups and anything soaked in gravy is his current diet. Can't wait to try this recipe. Thank you 😊

I have so many favorite recipes....and this is one of them! Just watch that headspace to avoid overflow issues. And, ENJOY! ❤️
