I have Ford and Toyotas and I brought recently a CS55 and its quite impressive. To be honest, Ford maintenance is the most costly and for me the least reliable compared to other brands, Toyota reliability is at the TOP no question. but these chinese cars nowadays is going to plunge into the market with their *own reliability, tech and features at a lower price point. Some Filipinos are detractor to these chinese brands since our influenced in car industry is mostly Japan/US/European brands for a long time. But to be honest Chinese Tech and Reliability are way much improved now than the previous decades. Although a lot of them do copies other brands but I can say also that known brands also copies one another, yes? Some of them has the same 3rd party suppliers for most of their major engine and transmission parts and for the design? Please do your own research.

Saw this in person while doing my CS35 review, looks great and if driving the CS35 was an indication, I would say this is a pretty good choice. Great review again Team Autodeal!
Honestly, one of the better reviews on new cars.
Agree the grill somehow resembles the Cheshire Cat's evil grin. But the white portion flanking it is more akin to the mouth flaps of a manta ray especially when seen from a distance.
Changing the sound of the signal lights is also available in the montero sport 2016-latest :)
I can definitely relate to cacos' "pioneer and kenwood in banawe" refference.
14:00 - The dash pattern lights up when the driver door is opened after turning off the engine.

The contrast lighting on the dashboard whenever you open the door, like a mood lighting before you ride it. It also act as wifi indicator on a galaxy mode ha ha ha.
Include the Tiggo 7 Pro in the comparo, since it is in the same price range and category (mid size SUV). Great video as always.

The pattern on the dashboard lights up when unlocking or opening the doors. It doesnt stay on. Just blinks for a few times.

Since you mention a comparo, how about an all chinese car comparo with the cs55, hs, coolray (since has almost same torque figure with the cs55) and also the tiggo 7 pro (because...why not?). Hope you guys can make it happen and thanks for making great videos...just for us :)

The branch looking lights in the dash, just above the glove box on the passenger side lights up when you turn on the engine. This is what I was told..

I hope changan will use AISIN/Toyota transmission ( changan cs75 is using Aisin transmission ). DCT is not good in traffic compare to traditional torque converter. Btw nice review sir caco!

Been eyeing the new tucson at 1.570m. This cs55 is almost 200k cheaper and is slightly powerful than the tucson.
Please do an AEB comparo. I've had no luck making the CS55 Luxe to do a full stop on its own using a cardboard cutout of a child. All I get is the audio and visual alarms, and the brakes being pumped but no actual heavy braking.
Watched this just now since i'm considering changan as one of my choices as a new car and the music displayed on the infotainment system shocked me, IT WAS AY-YO BY NCT 127!!!

Got CS55 last week because of your video re Chinese cars. As what you've said, you shouldn't judge the book by its cover, the same way you shouldn't judge a car/brand simply by its point of origin. Especially sa dami ng popular brands na pinoproduce sa China like Territory (Ford), Tcross (Volkswagen), Volvos, etc... (Chinese car, foreign badge) :* PS. Previous Honda user.
Di talaga maiiwasan yan, dahil mostly sa boomer mindset ng ibang tao. Stuck sa nakaraan, when in reality chinese cars are doing really good overseas as well.
How was the car boss? Goods naman over all?
Goods sya for me sir, tho nag aadjust pa rin sa CVT. Just have to gas it up earlier (half a second - 1 sec) than what I used to sa ibang sasakyan pag gusto ko na umandar, especially sa shifting ng drive to reverse (vice versa) if naka Eco mode. For the normal mode naman, it's just like driving normal SUVs/Crossovers, no delay sa transmission. Ang pinaka cons nya (sa ngayon) is wala syang mga gamit like matt, SW cover, etc... na 100% fit unlike sa ibang brands na makikita mo kahit saan.
Daming mga chinese car brands sa mga euro countries na pinakamataas na yata ung quality and safety standards. Kung pumasa sa standard nila parang napaka pretentious naman ng pinoy kung maraming reklamo.
Boss, kamusta po aircon lalo na kung tirik yung araw? Nahihirapan ba palamigin yung cabin?

Looks good! There’s also a study that because of automation and use of robotics by Chinese companies, these cars are now as reliable as american brands. Not yet as good as the japanese but a fast rise considering the Americans have been producing automobiles for decades ahead of the chinese brands

Really nice looking vehicle Caco, however concern with reliability, durability and spare parts would put me off adding it to my shortlist.
They have 5 vital essential to your concern if they cant provide you everything is free, how about that including the spareparts u need with in 24 hours, coz i had one tnxs.
