This channel is absolutely brilliant and succeeds at making complicated writings more easily digestible. Thank you!!! :)
we need a lesson on subjectivity, subjectivation and subjectification (and desubjectification and subjugation) please....
One of the few channels I subscribe to where listening at 2x playback speed is impossible. Good news is the explanations are lucid and concise at normal speed.
There are societies where personalized sovereign power is still there and very active and even engaged with biopower. Especially in authoritarian regimes
All the hard work that you do, David! Also, how are you so eloquent! I never see you having any references notes when you discuss. And then to adjoin the ideas ar hand , with others, in a matter of seconds is an art. Really commendable. Great deliverance.
Thanks for the video, but the audio is too low. Take care!
Hey David!!!! I'm a big fan of your channel! To be honest, it's the first channel i search up, when i want to understand complex philosophical concepts and the minds that get them out!. Have you considered adding "De-Subjectification" to your keywords series? i myself (someone new to Critical Theory) think it would be a fine addition! That aside, I hope Montreal is treating you well and i wish your near exorbitant success! Sincerely, a curious mind from Southern Ontario.
THANK YOU
How can I find the essay; I have been looking for it with no success.
12:07 can we use that to understand the israeli-palestinian contlict?
Are these Baudrillard inspired frames? Asking for a friend
Which collection of Foucault'swritings contains this essay?
I have the same doubt, I have been looking for it an entire week and I don't find it
The Politics of Truth
It is in "The Politics of Truth"
Some Fredrick Kittler texts might be interesting…
You sound so far away from the mic every video. :(
Thank you so much for this. I think Judith Butler has also written on critique. But it's not that easy to understand that one.
Lol. Of course, it’s Judith Butler. To be fair, her later writings are much easier to digest.
Nice T.
OMG is this the first non-keyword video?!?!
this one is quite dense
I didnt understand that ngl
