@@DaleyTacticsIt's less about what it embellished and more about what they left out. A Single Movie was never a good idea, should have been Three Movies. Rise, In Power, and Downfall all separate movies. A Series or Mini Series even better. Or go with The Critical Drinker's suggestion of it being a Josephine movie because the movie was about the relationship between the two rather than Napoleon himself. The problem was mainly it was a bit of a Bait and Switch.
The US army's 81 mm mortars have a range of like 5600 m and the 120 has a range of 7,200 m You actually can reach out and touch somebody with mortars. They got great range
If we were being realistic with it, the mortars would have been the first troops to start firing and the Abrams probably would have been the second followed by the Apaches And They should be firing a good while before the regular soldiers have a chance to even see the enemy
I know people were complaining Napoleon wasn't historically accurate and that's a fair assesment but even apart from that I just thought it was bad. I didn't feel anything for Josephine, I didn't understand why they loved each other, they just "did". The movie felt like it was trying to be too many things and a master of none. It wanted to be a summary of his military career but also a love story but also a character piece and as a result some of the major plot points of his life were rushed with little build up or attempt to capture the audience's emotions. Man even Napoleon's personality was all over the place, he was brave but not brave, stoic but not stoic, loving but abusive. And I get it that a good character has contradictions but none of those contradictions led to any personal redemption or any payoff with his character. It was all so strange to me. The movie was pretty though most of the time
Yo daily been watching since 2016 man so happy how far you have come I am do not plan to leave this channel anytime soon either also did you see that new Lego clone set it is fire bro
I would say humanity lost and thr apaches came back and picked up the remaining men on the roof and fleed the city before they did a danger close mission and dropped hella jdam on the citys that were loss.
@@DaleyTactics Yes I understand the strategy game logic of course. Already wanted to channel some aliens and ask pardon 🤣🤣💫 Watch out if David Grusch is correct and they are already here...
Yeah I saw Napoleon too I thought it was pretty good I liked when he came back to Paris and not a single shot was fired this is defently one of my new favorite vids keep up the good work.
Do a battle where 10 or 100 teslas lead the lightning aliens. 10 or 100 John Wicks lead modern soldiers. 10 or 100 auto archers lead an ancient army like Spartans and Roman’s. And 10 or 100 Cleopatras lead Egyptian army’s. 10 or 100 German sniper hero unit lead Germans. Then have them battle each other. Basically more than 1 hero unit lead a respective army
Part of the problem with the dramatization is many people don't know better and they start to believe some of it is historically accurate. Young people today are quite dumb regarding history and the world. Just watch a video of when they ask basic questions to random people. Yes, they cut out many of those who get it right but even still...
Many people who only know Chernobyl from the show genuinely believe Europe was in danger of being rendered "uninhabitable" for 10,000 years by a nuclear explosion. That's scientifically inaccurate nonsense, but most people don't know, they believe the show, and now you have a generation of young people who think Chernobyl (2019) was a documentary
The Zealots were too powerful for their numbers. But if you wanted to keep them, you should have added in APCs into the smaller city. The troops had to get there somehow....
@@DaleyTacticsJust busting your stones my good youtuber! Fairly, you did say it was was dramatized. You did get me thinking, 300 was closer to a documentary than Saving Private Ryan (fake mission, fake main cast, somewhat realistic war around it) Keep it up the good work!
so annoying not seeing the ending, its like watching someone attempting a world record, but then not showing whether they do it or not and just leave it up to a guess
Clearly line of sight isn't a thing, and they have unlimited ammo xD. I think the US Army gets slaughtered if they couldn't shoot through each other, and had to reload.
Wait where's the nuclear arsenal? U seriously expect the US to fight aliens without Nuclear bombs? They dropped those things because of a minor Japanese attack hahahaha Imagine what they would do to Aliens, without the UN on their backs A perfect opportunity to teste their weapons.
🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔You comment well about The characters, the fighters, and the tank are something like that, but when the fighting starts, shut up so we can watch the fighting
Napoleon is a bad movie. Bad acting (Phoenix didn't seemed convinced of his role), no historical facts, boring story. Even the battles were bad, especially Austerlitz': it is one of the most documented battle in history and yet nothing in the movie is even close to what actually happened. Really disappointing, given that the last duel was actually pretty good.
think with movies like 300 , and apparently napoleon heh.. its lees peopel complaining about 1% being dramatized but.. something exceptionally critical that was the absolute opposite in real life or such making the title of the movie itself missleading ,wich in a era when various fragments causes suffering for millions by intentional missinformation ,well one can understand some reactions that said.. napoleon XD whats next ...erik the red with a silly jankie accent and some silly opposite of reality speech of freedom to do things like was hamfisted into 300 ^^
Let me get this straight. Aliens with the power of travelling light years to invade earth, dont have air support? This battle was over before it started and in reality, the death count of aliens would have remained low. There's no simulation going on here, just pipe dreams of only melee aliens. Even if these are xenomorphs, transported here, they are not accounting for all methods of attack and victory. Humanity loses either way.
"CHEAP to give it to US army" you literally spawned 100 thousands of zealots all with 8000hp.. plus siren heads with 700 000hp. nope, US army won that 100% fair and square! Did an amazing job
It over aliens, we have the high ground!
No i shall have the high ground!!!

the roof soldiers count.
I accept humanity win🏅 🥇 🏆 this battle.
I think if you're not gonna make a historically accurate history film, just make fiction. this is where misconceptions come from.
Thats a totally fair opinion, but I think Napoleon is being held to a higher standard than pretty much every other historical drama that embellishes
@@DaleyTactics I think that varies from person to person.

I've only seen a handful of scenes from UA-cam and just from those I agree with everything you said...

Time lapsing the zapper guys needs a seizure warning.... my poor eyes. Aliens win zealots OP
Haha I'm sorry xD didn't realize it would be bad lol
Haha I closed my eyes for that
Came here to the comment section to see if anyone else thought the same thing lol but yeah, that was really harsh on the eyes
Hi Daley, I used to watch ur vids about 2 years ago! Still think ur vids are very high quality, keep up the good work!
Be better if the Apaches roamed the battlefield or had an area of operation instead of holding in the rear
Why are these videos so fucking satisfying… discovered this shit three days ago and I keep coming back to it… never even heard of the game..

does it really fuckin matter??
7 million down to 100K is too big of a loss to even continue against another few thousend soldiers and attach helis…
@nickkozak4763 yeah but the apache didn't go down cause they were pretty stuck to being on top of buildings so pretty much they were lost lol
@@shshshaa9114 still a win.
Apaches can’t pick up anything. They are attack helicopters no room for anything other than the flight crew.
the apache isnt a troop transport
I think the mortars killed the most. Maybe by the next time less from them to balance?. I don't know.
have you heard of tanks?
The mortars already had their range nerfed significantly
This battle was already incredibly close.
Good old human perseverance and ingenuity
