Recently been battling with pruning a pyracantha growing up the side of my parents' house, and that reminded me of this tree. What an incredible result! Pyracanthas are such rugged trees. They do hurt though! I'm impressed you work on it without gloves. I somehow keep hitting the thorns XD Thanks for sharing, excited to see this one's journey.
Tree looks great Corin I really do enjoy your videos and the information the viewer gets from you . I have a Firethorn and they make great bonsai. Glenn
Excellent video, very informative. I was one of those that enjoyed your hacking job in there first video, cruel to be kind! I do however want to talk to you about something not even bonsai related. I have been watching your channel for two or three years, I hope to be growing my own Bonsai when I move over to Thailand (long and separate story). I have taken note of how many watches you have. I have lost count but I think your collection is well into two figures (over ten). I have started collecting watches, I have two and waiting for number three to be delivered as I write now. But my collection pales in comparison to yours! I think I have seen Rolex on your wrist. I would watch a video about your watches. Not interested so much in how much they cost, but I am sure there are some interesting stories behind some of them...
Amazing transformation, I have one very much the same as yours so it will help me with deciding what to create from what was a stump, the growth on them is very vigorous as you say I no sooner prune the shoots I don’t need and there back again, I have in mind a semi cascade but I may have a rethink and follow in your footsteps Corin, so well timed video for me, Thank you.
Help! About a month ago, I bought a small pyracantha. It was repotted with new soil, but now all its leaves have dried up completely. I removed the dry leaves, but it doesn't seem to be improving. What can I do to encourage new leaves to grow?
If I remember (from the first vid,) that left side was really rotted away. Fairly drastic surgery was required. The tree will favor the more vigorous growth, and the left side has a great deal of healing to do before a lot of energy will be put into growth.
Hi could you please add the option to see auto-translated Hungarian subtitles on your videos? Love your content but sadly my english isn’t the best so it would help a lot. Thanks for your effort, Krisz.

Always great to see progression videos like this, and greatly appreciated. Super job on that Pyracantha.
I’ve been out of action for a few months so it’s nice to see that tree again Dennis
What an amazing transformation and a healthy tree, well done Corin

It’s fantastic that you always get to see the follow up of these amazing projects fantastic work 😜
Glad you enjoy it!
A bit spiky and prickly, that’s an understatement, fabulous work and great to see a follow up on this tree.
Thank you! Cheers!
I love that tree!!! Can't wait to see the carving video in the winter!
A really fantastic transformation. Must admit, I was skeptical that it would survive the first repotting. ❤
Looks like two seals tossing up some seaweed for lunch! Really epic save of this tree! Bravo!🙏🙏🙏
It's a skill in itself to do this work without bleeding. 😊 Great follow up video, thanks!
Great update. Whenever you say 'I'll see if I can get a bit of wire on this', I always think I bet you will
Looking good, Corin! 👍
Been very much looking forward to this one 😁💚
That's amazing. I was definitely wondering if that tree survived. Happy to see it doing so well.
Looks good and inspiring! Let's save the old stubs...!
Moin, that Pyracantha looks great, good job
Thanks for sharing Corin.
Greetings from USA.
Great. Seen it a few months ago in the nursery and was wondering what was happening with it

Love this one Corin
That’s really taking shape 👍
I look forward to seeing the carving on the heavily cut surfaces. I’d like to see how you make this look “natural”. Thank you.
Great progress. Can’t wait for the carving 👩🏻🌾🪴
You’re an amazing artist. The tree is looking great

Coming on beautifully. Thanks for the update.
Beautiful.
Expert work. Thank you. When do you think it will put out lush crops of berries again? They were beautiful!
Thanks for a very nice catch up 😊
I remember seeing this at greenwood’s last Sunday ❤
This tree is so
Unique I really like it
Great update mate, thank you
You're magic man.
Thanks Corin
Bello ! Curioso di vedere come verra ! Complimenti grazie
Awesome!
Awesome
Very nice video and thank you for taking the time to share. Would that tree be available at this stage ?
😊
Great followup, thank you. You mentioned you just fed it since last time. What feed and how often?
We feed it with Naruko, once a month during growing season
Nice, does the pot look too large for the big tree. Maybe too deep? It is very beautifully done, as is. Thanks
Yes, its an oversize training pot, it will eventually go into a smaller pot
@@greenwoodbonsaistudio thank you, I really respect your art

They can be quite thirsty, so water really well in Summer
Do we really need that left section?
Maybe we do - maybe we don’t 😉😀
I like it. In fact, I’d like to see it grow out more.
If I remember (from the first vid,) that left side was really rotted away. Fairly drastic surgery was required. The tree will favor the more vigorous growth, and the left side has a great deal of healing to do before a lot of energy will be put into growth.

Yes you can, click on settings (cog) then on subtitles, then on auto translate, then scroll down to Hungarian.
@@greenwoodbonsaistudio Thanks for your help! On desktop this method works, sadly on mobile not all languages are avalaible for auto translation.
that is down to you tube, not us, Best to use desktop then.
