That key fob is a good concept ✊🏾 However, it’s too big not to include an auto-start feature, a locator feature connected to your phone, a feature to lock out anyone from using it without you knowing or even a feature to stop anyone from changing the settings. What do you think, Alex? Have you been able to find a key fob like that in your search.
Hi Michael! it's size is almost identical to the BMW LCD key you get with the 7 series, it actually looks like a straight copy of it lol but I also think the size is mostly limited by the need for the new key fob to fit your old key circuit board inside and the size of the touchscreen itself. But man I do really like the ideas you propose, I can see them adding a pin code or some other locking way via the next firmware update, that definitely could be done. Even the autostart (it's no fun to install, it was so frustrating when I installed one I swore I would never done one again lol) could be done like an add on for those that want the additional option. I think if enough people request this from FitcamX it could happen. Thanks for watching and commenting bud!
I was reading the comments before the ads finished and saw all the hype about the moustache. I definitely wasn't disappointed once the video started haha.
Maybe one day someone will invent a car key that does just the basic functions of a car key and will also fit in my pocket like a car key did 40 years ago. THAT would really make my life much easier!
Hi Stille! LOL! Yes LCD touchscreen remotes are definitely not for everyone. When BMW introduced this one with their 7 Series, many people really loved it while others choose to get the standard key fob. So it's been interesting to see how now exotic car manufacturers are including them as an option now but also offer the normal key option for those than want to keep things simple. Hi Mark ! An App would be neat! the main issue would be that the transmitter on key fobs operates in a different frequency that a smartphone can't produce. Some cars like Tesla and the new Mustang Mach-E got smart, they use Bluetooth in combination with NFC instead of the normal frequency used by key fobs to operate the car. On those cars you can use your phone as the key to operate the car, which I think is pretty awesome! Hope this helps, Cheers!

Yea but you have to press unlock on your fob for the doors but this wouldn't help there either would it. I guess this is a product for those that need it.

I can definitely see them adding this on the future or selling a upgraded version of it since it would add cost to the FOB, kind of like an iPhone be neat to track it, they could probably start with Bluetooth just to be able to locate in your own house (I'm always misplacing my key! LOL)..
I want to be Alex's friend because of that epic mustache.
Thanks Ryan!
This is sick but HOLY CRAP your moustache is awesome.
Thanks DrKoneko!
your mustache reminds me of MARIO!!!! 🌈
LOL!
That mustache *burp* genius
Thanks Rick!
That mustache though is what got me to click on this video 😄

Thank you Ryan! I appreciate that Sir!
Alex thank you for the best videos
You're welcome Ryan and thank you!
Most people will not call you to give it back when it's lost lol but nice device
I was interested in this bud I thought it was a lil cheaper. For the price I'd rather get the Hubway drive. That thing looks legit!
Hi Jose! Yeah I always get asked about the Hudway drive when people when on the car, and when I tell them it's a heads up display they still don't get it until I have them sit on the driver's side and they go OHHH AHH very cool LOL
I love your mustache mann🤩🤩🔥
Thank you Mark! I appreciate that bud!
" sorry man i cant go tonight, my mf key fob charging "
all in all its a really good concept and maybe one day those will come standard with cars
LOL! Yeah I think LCD touchscreen remotes are definitely not for everyone. When BMW introduced this style of Key Fobs with their 7 Series, many people loved it while others choose to get a standard key fob. I think this is only for those looking for an LCD touchscreen or looking to add the comfort door lock & unlock system since some cars do not come with the auto door opener/locker feature. Well and for folks like me who like gadgets or want to have a Supercar type key fob while I drive my Corolla LOL Cheers Ziggy Z!
Why does he keep blinking.? Did the stash get in his eye? Lol
Definitely something I haven't seen in a while 👨👍🏼
Hi Adrian! LOL that may be why! I didn't think about that 😁 honestly I think I need some visine!
It's nice but bulky. My 2021 Toyota Sequoia can start, unlock, lock, and read driving habits, etc off my phone. I like the video btw
Hi Palomar Family Adventures! and thank you! yeah it's size is almost identical to the BMW LCD key you get with the 7 series, it actually looks like a straight copy of it lol but I also think the size is mostly limited by the need for the new key fob to fit your old key circuit board inside and the size of the touchscreen itself. But I wouldn't doubt it will continue to get small like all technologies do. But that is pretty cool that your remote can do all that! I had heard Toyota was adding something like that so it's good to hear it works well. Hope that makes sense and thanks for watching bud!
This is my first time watching this channel and I was not expecting the mustache 😂
😁
Subbed just for the amazing stache
Thanks @jasonhwu21!
Your mustache is goals.
Thank you Newtrixter! I appreciate that bud!
He looks like he was about do a top 10 list of the best clogs and 5 common clog mistakes to avoid.
Next week can you please test the fender vents from AutoZone? Or body kits on pickup trucks?
Hi Matthew! I haven't done body modifications videos yet (aside from the mud flaps videos) trying to focus on gadgets but I will certainly look into them if there is enough interest and it could be done. I do have several RGB lighting videos here is one ua-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/v-deo.html and I have underglows kits coming to, stay tuned, Cheers Bud!
Great Video will definitely get one ........ Amigo that mustache though 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Fantastic man 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you Alfred!
Great video! Just wish the background music in this vid didn't have all the little clicking sounds. It confused me because when you were pressing the buttons on the remote I couldn't tell if the music clicking noises was part of the sound of the remote as you pressed the buttons.
Thank you Nick! and sorry about that! I actually just noticed that when you pointed it out, will keep an eye out for this on future videos..
@@AlexAutoFun It's good! and you have a new sub, thanks
@@nick9463 Awesome! welcome aboard Nick! 🍻

Love your videos, why do you blink so much?? Just curious since it makes me blink more when i watch.
Thanks real guy! and LOL! I think I need some Visine in the good old eye balls...
Verry good video and information man❤️.
Cool gadget
Thanks Nightrider6977 Malayali driver!
The key fob looks very cool. Does this key fob only work on cars that have the push to start feature?
Hi Joshua! yeah it's pretty neat, it works with regular turn key cars also. And if you wanted to add remote start later, it could be added done using a kit like this one amzn.to/2Z12Xsr The contents of the remote start key would then be transferred to the LCD key fob that way you won't have to carry two key fobs. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Alright it's the Tapatio Man! What are you doing reviewing a remote control fob? Let me break into song... "Out in the West Texas town of El Paso I fell in love with a Mexican girl. Nighttime would find me in Rosa's Cantina. Music Would Play And Felina Would Whirl" Marty Robbins
😂!! Great now you got me listing to this song LOL!
@@AlexAutoFun lol it's a great song at least I think so... keep up the good work! I truly enjoyed your educational talent and way of simplifying something technical to something simple.
