In this episode, I felt angry with Ray, and at the same time I felt sad for him, as if he doesn't know exactly what he wants, and everyone blames him for everything, and I don't think that is fair to him.I noticed that when he is with Sand, he comes out of depression and is happier, but when he is with Mew, he indulges in mistakes and finds no one to stop him. Boston and Top. I think I started to like their personalities. Now, Top does what he can to make up for what he did to Mew. It is clear that Mew doesn't love Ray ,But Sand his feelings I can tell through his eyes only that, I love him so much.Thanks I love you. ❤️

But Mew is not 3, he is capable of making decisions on his own, Ray didn’t forces him to do nothing. The cigarette Mew asked for it, the party Mew asked for it too and the drugs we don't know but he's clearly not forced. It's not Ray's role to parent him, he already has his own problems to deal with..
I totally agree that this friend group is toxic. Cheum is right, noone seems to care about her, but she didn't have to lash out on Ray as if he is the root of all their problems, because she never seemed to care about Ray either. When they hang out, Ray is always sitting in the corner drinking and everyone just lets him be. I get it, it's a tough situation to deal with without professional help, but it has already been twice that noone even wondered how he got home after being completely drunk. It also bothers me how Boston is treated. Yeah, he's a jerk and an asshole that betrayed his friend, but honestly even before that, the way he was always viewed by his friends was very dismissive, only because he slept around a lot. To me, in the last episode, it seemed like it was the first time Boston revealed to Mew that his dad isn't aware of his sex life. All these friends are very superficially bonded and their friendship doesn't feel genuine at all, so Ray didn't deserve to get attacked like that. And about Mew as well, of course he played his part, but Mew is equally responsible for this situation.. 😌
I feel I really understand what you’re coming from about how Cheum seems to only care about Mew, but I feel as though before the series started, we haven’t seen what happens or what has been said other than what’s been on screen and in the flashbacks. I’m thinking when they’ve became friends with Ray, he was already in the deep end, but they were always trying to help and be that ride home for him. I see the point because Mew has been the only one that’s been there for Ray on a personal level. I feel they’ve been wanting to help Mew a lot because this is very new for him and they want to help him not fall down that path before it’s too late. What’s important is that if what I said was right about Ray being into drinking and drugs before he became friends with the other three, then its Ray’s decision and responsibility on rather he wants to actually change and the people in his life can only help if he really takes that effort to want to change. It all depends on him, though.
I definitely agree with you cause we actually don't know about the past of this friend group. Like they'd never become friends if they didn't care about each other at all. And when you rewatch ep 1 you clearly can see that they were happy together. I guess Boston was that one who didn't care much about others (cause when Mew asked him to pick up Ray, he just ignored it). And when Ray's mum died, he was a teenager, I guess. I don't think they were friend at this time, so we can't assume that they just allowed Ray to start drinking and using drugs. I often see that people say "Sand's the only one who cares about Ray" but we don't know if his friends really didn't try. Maybe he just doesn't want to be saved? I could be wrong, but I think that he tries to change himself cause he's not self confident anymore. Remember he said "am I not worthy enough to love only me?" And when he called himself boring in library. That all happen not only because he wants to catch Top's attention, but because he thinks that he's not good enough. Gmmtv should move on from school/ uni concepts, I'm ok having one or two series like that but they should do more serious stuff. And they should give school and uni students role to people who are actually students like forthgemini. I want more series like this in their gmmtv 2024 lineup this month. As well I want pondpuwin and JoongDunk in same series, as well a JoongDunk vampire bl (if they not give us that I want a better story for them). As well as more horror fiction, honestly midnight museum started good but in the midway point it just became so much complex, they failed to answer the suspense and mystery, as well vfx were not so great. I think enigma really mastered the vfx, as well as storytelling. I'm excited for 2024 lineup, can't wait.
i agree that a shift is needed, however i disagree at the same time. GMMTV 's BL universe is a business. the majority of the clientele is tweens, teenagers and uni students. GMMTV shows that bring in most fans (money and sponsorship) are highschool, uni based. why go against a business model that is trendsetting and is being copied throughout BL producing companies in the world? Let us not forget that GMMTV BL and Thai BL BL Shipping is popular only since 2017 when SOTUS came out.
i think that in the past they would’ve tried to help ray (we just didn’t see it) cause they did mention it a few times at the beginning telling him it wasn’t good for him etc. but it’s gotten to a point where you can really only say so much. If someone doesn’t want to be helped and is now risking other people as well you’re obviously going to be angry. They all also did say they don’t want ray to end up in prison because he’s already been charged with the drunk driving charges and have told him to stop.. he just isn’t listening. Like i just want him to go to rehab and stop tryna seek self worth in other people 😭 cause that’s obviously probably from his mum dying and he probably thinks he wasn’t even worth enough for his mum to wanna live 😭😭 Mew is obviously responsible as well for his own actions and it makes him a hypocrite that he used to tell everyone else to stop drinking and using drugs and he’s doing just that. The reason i think most people are worried for mew specifically is cause we’ve been told he literally is very sensitive in the way he processes things and like you said he’s gone from 0 to 100 and it’s just doing too much at one time which is so dangerous especially when your body isn’t used to any of that stuff at all and you do it all at once

We don't know their past but since the series started i really haven't seen Cheum playing any major roles in the squad like the directiors said. May be she will do something in coming eps but as for now all i can picture is Cheum being biased towards Mew since the start. She has been seen nagging Ray for this & that calling him names & all. She thinks Ray is good enough only because of his Looks & money. As for Boston, the s*ut shaming ughh. & now she didn't like the idea of Mew getting together with Ray because Ray is just a Wasted, depressed addict in her eyes. She doesn't see any good in him but she chose Top a Total stranger for Mew the moment she met him that day like? & blaming Ray for Mew changing himself? Oh Ray is nowhere at fault here. Yes, he is an addict but he never forced anyone to do those things. Mew is an adult, he chose to smoke, initiated the idea of the party & asked for the coke himself. & lashing out on Ray in that situation saying he never cared for them? I'm pretty sure they have tried to help Ray but there is only so much you can do for someone. They have to want to get help as well. Cheum mentioned earlier in the episode to Top that they used to try to stop Ray. Mew mentioned in episode 3 I think that he tried to get Ray to quit drugs. Mew is the main focus because he's not usually like this. Ray needs some tough love to be honest. He's not even caring anymore. Cheum even told him that he needs to take responsibility. They even kept him from getting arrested again when he was the one who brought the drugs there. They might have even done more than that they don't show us everything. What else can they do? I just want things to end well. They all have things to learn. I like Mew and Top together. I also like Ray and Sand together. As much as drama is entertaining, I am a sucker for happiness. I just hope that even if the couples don't get together at least they can have the characters start doing better for themselves.
These 4 are university friends... when Ray lost his mom he was in highschool so it was way before they met. Also, they know each other for 3-4 years now so they are past their attempts at helping Ray... they try to temper him but pretty much admitted defeat in helping him. People keep forgetting that no one has energy to help an addict indefinitely. If the addict does not want to be helped (like in Ray's case) then all friends and loved ones are doomed to fail and fail until they run our of energy and are forced to give up. it might happen in months, years or decades but everyone has to give up eventually. So they need Ray to want the help for them to really start helping him again... With Mew, all of this is new and so Cheum believes she can still help him.
Helping Mew and blaming Ray are two different things. They can help Mew without attacking Ray and blaming him for everything that has went to shit. In only ep. 1 I counted 5 times Ray being called a burden. Mew knew he can get the substances from Ray and because Ray is an addict who doesn't even realise he is an addict and uses substances for self medication, thinks "sure, i'll do whatever for you to make you feel better."
And since we talked about it in the Chat yesterday I went back and looked at the end credits of "Who is the most (A)lonely in this pov/one!" And so far the list is going on like this Ep 1 Mew Ep 2 Ray Ep 3 Nick Ep 4 Ray Ep 5Sand Ep 6 Top Ep 7 Mew Ep 8 BosTon
I had this sudden idea of: what if Nick gets in trouble with that Dan guy and Ton comes to the rescue???!?!?!? 'cause he's clearly starting to miss him and the new guy seems a bit iffy (that being said, I don't think Ton has a way back, and I hope Nick finds someone new and nice to be happy with)
The whole episode 8 , got me wanting to punch Ray so much 😓 . He became the worst and most toxic character in the show. Starting from drunk driving and then showing no remorse for his actions. Like it's just another thing that can be solved with money. Also, he is emotionally manipulating both Mew and Sand. He says he loves Mew , but you don't do this to someone you love, you care for them. As for Sand, I really want him to end up with someone he deserves 🥺 and get over Ray. And Ray needs to be sent to a rehab. Like literally he cannot play the victim card, for his mother's death and justify his actions.
I had my heart broken for the first time like Mew. I had the same reaction. I wanted to not be me since I felt that is what got me hurt. You eventually pull out of it, but that first real heart break is something else.
Nanchum seems to have had enough of Ray's drug addiction. Like Mew who told Top that Ray uses drugs and he hates that about Ray, The look on Mew's face too when he suspected that Ray had met him in the bathroom because he was sneaking in to take drugs, Mew became angry and advised him that Ray should love himself more. It seems that both Nanchum and Mew are fed up with advising the stubborn Ray to stop using drugs
Hiiii 🤗💗🤗💗 The way Sand just threw a dagger at Ray with just words. Him we were never friends, you can tell Sand just trying to protect himself. Sand is in so deep that Ray with his cutes please can’t say no to Ray when he mentioned the children. At the party way Sand first instinct ran to quickly try to help Ray. Mew what can I say that’s not already been said. Ray is blinded an only sees what he wants to see or focus on that all he sees is Mew hanging out with him, trying all new this with him, holding his hand and kissing him. Ignoring all the signs. All I saw is that Boston really cared about Nick, I really want to see him be jelly when he sees Nick with someone else. Chuem blaming Ray that entire time I’m like yes Ray shouldn’t introduce him to anything but if Ray didn’t someone else would because Mew is going downhill fast. I think the difference between the party is that they did the first one together but the second party was just Ray trying to satisfy Mew. I can’t wait for next week hehe…
GMMTV has been a hit or miss on couple chemistry for me. I feel like they focus on hotness and not enough on how ready they are to be main couples or can sell the plot. I never once believed Yoon as a ruthless mafia boss with his gentle sweet vibe.

We don't know their past but since the series started i really haven't seen Cheum playing any major roles in the squad like the directiors said. May be she will do something in coming eps but as for now all i can picture is Cheum being biased towards Mew since the start. She has been seen nagging Ray for this & that calling him names & all. She thinks Ray is good enough only because of his Looks & money. As for Boston, the s*ut shaming ughh.
& now she didn't like the idea of Mew getting together with Ray because Ray is just a Wasted, depressed addict in her eyes. She doesn't see any good in him but she chose Top a Total stranger for Mew the moment she met him that day like? & blaming Ray for Mew changing himself? Oh Ray is nowhere at fault here. Yes, he is an addict but he never forced anyone to do those things. Mew is an adult, he chose to smoke, initiated the idea of the party & asked for the coke himself. & lashing out on Ray in that situation saying he never cared for them? I'm pretty sure they have tried to help Ray but there is only so much you can do for someone. They have to want to get help as well. Cheum mentioned earlier in the episode to Top that they used to try to stop Ray. Mew mentioned in episode 3 I think that he tried to get Ray to quit drugs. Mew is the main focus because he's not usually like this. Ray needs some tough love to be honest. He's not even caring anymore. Cheum even told him that he needs to take responsibility. They even kept him from getting arrested again when he was the one who brought the drugs there. They might have even done more than that they don't show us everything. What else can they do?
I just want things to end well. They all have things to learn. I like Mew and Top together. I also like Ray and Sand together. As much as drama is entertaining, I am a sucker for happiness. I just hope that even if the couples don't get together at least they can have the characters start doing better for themselves.
They didn't know Ray when he lost his Mom and they have tried to help Ray in the past!
These 4 are university friends... when Ray lost his mom he was in highschool so it was way before they met.
Also, they know each other for 3-4 years now so they are past their attempts at helping Ray... they try to temper him but pretty much admitted defeat in helping him. People keep forgetting that no one has energy to help an addict indefinitely. If the addict does not want to be helped (like in Ray's case) then all friends and loved ones are doomed to fail and fail until they run our of energy and are forced to give up. it might happen in months, years or decades but everyone has to give up eventually. So they need Ray to want the help for them to really start helping him again...
With Mew, all of this is new and so Cheum believes she can still help him.
Helping Mew and blaming Ray are two different things. They can help Mew without attacking Ray and blaming him for everything that has went to shit. In only ep. 1 I counted 5 times Ray being called a burden. Mew knew he can get the substances from Ray and because Ray is an addict who doesn't even realise he is an addict and uses substances for self medication, thinks "sure, i'll do whatever for you to make you feel better."

I had this sudden idea of: what if Nick gets in trouble with that Dan guy and Ton comes to the rescue???!?!?!? 'cause he's clearly starting to miss him and the new guy seems a bit iffy (that being said, I don't think Ton has a way back, and I hope Nick finds someone new and nice to be happy with)
The whole episode 8 , got me wanting to punch Ray so much 😓 . He became the worst and most toxic character in the show. Starting from drunk driving and then showing no remorse for his actions. Like it's just another thing that can be solved with money.
Also, he is emotionally manipulating both Mew and Sand. He says he loves Mew , but you don't do this to someone you love, you care for them.
As for Sand, I really want him to end up with someone he deserves 🥺 and get over Ray.
And Ray needs to be sent to a rehab. Like literally he cannot play the victim card, for his mother's death and justify his actions.

I had my heart broken for the first time like Mew. I had the same reaction. I wanted to not be me since I felt that is what got me hurt. You eventually pull out of it, but that first real heart break is something else.
Nanchum seems to have had enough of Ray's drug addiction. Like Mew who told Top that Ray uses drugs and he hates that about Ray, The look on Mew's face too when he suspected that Ray had met him in the bathroom because he was sneaking in to take drugs, Mew became angry and advised him that Ray should love himself more. It seems that both Nanchum and Mew are fed up with advising the stubborn Ray to stop using drugs

The way Sand just threw a dagger at Ray with just words. Him we were never friends, you can tell Sand just trying to protect himself. Sand is in so deep that Ray with his cutes please can’t say no to Ray when he mentioned the children. At the party way Sand first instinct ran to quickly try to help Ray.
Mew what can I say that’s not already been said. Ray is blinded an only sees what he wants to see or focus on that all he sees is Mew hanging out with him, trying all new this with him, holding his hand and kissing him. Ignoring all the signs.

GMMTV has been a hit or miss on couple chemistry for me. I feel like they focus on hotness and not enough on how ready they are to be main couples or can sell the plot. I never once believed Yoon as a ruthless mafia boss with his gentle sweet vibe.
