Finally. I thought this was going to be just another heavy metal demo of the amp. You might be the ONLY BLUES demo here. Thanks. Great playing and sound. .
+Wade Older thats what i thought too - 90 % Fender amp demos are about Jazz -Rockabilly sounds ,90% Vox amp demos are Brian may -Queen stuff ,90% Marshall amp demos are Led zeppelin - Deep purple -Ac/dc stuff , 90 % Orange amp demos are all Doomer Metal nonsense ! Very Happy of this Demo though !
+motorrebell Well stated! Soon I'll be pulling the trigger on this amp and while I do fall into the heavy rock and some metal category, it's nice hearing that this amp has the gritty dirty blues tone. I hope that more people come to check this demo out because it shows just how flexible the Orange CR60 combo can be and that it's far from being a one trick pony. It offers some great tones at a reasonable price, without unnecessary gadgets and gizmos and coming across as gimmicky. Orange really hit a home run out of the park with this amplifier.
Ian Alderman Great ! If you take a chance on this amp ( brand new ) - Keep in mind that the speaker does need some "break-in Playing time" and will get smoother sounding , that was my experience ;-)
Hey Willy Booger, another great demo. I really enjoy them. One thing I want to point out to everyone. There is always debate about sound and equipment. Willy shows that if you know how to play your instrument, and dial in an amp whether digital or tube, you can get a lot of great tones. A lot of people don't realize that there is not a one tone fits all for songs and music. Every song is unique in itself and should be adjusted accordingly. Thank you again Willy.
Incredible playing! You're very talented and you really showcase that amp. Made my mind up; time to trade in the line 6 v120 for this Orange beauty. Well done.
Great review. You just sold me on the amp. I've been looking for a while to upgrade from my Blackstar studio 20 and the Orange CR60 is it. Keep jamming for Jesus!!!!!!!
4:02 congratulations sir, you just sold me an Orange. amazing tone for a solid state. I've been looking for something to offset my tubes when I don't feel like waiting for things to warm up and this CR60 appears to do it all in an extremely durable and versatile package.
@@neilpincus855 I just bought this amp after walking into the store and trying it out after I saw the price tag. Walked out with it. I think this is what I’ve wanted my whole life. It isn’t a 1966 Fender hardwired tube amp but it’s sick in a different way
I just bought this amp, got it used,,and in brand new condition, for dirt cheap because the guy didnt know what he had, but man i loved how you wanted to play some signature licks from some famous bands, but you let off at the perfect timing, loved the end of the video, you can Make those strings sing Brother, and it makes me feel good about getting this amp..awesome
Some wicked amp! But you pull all the sounds out of it... Again very nice tone and playing, good review, all the best and keep on playing your amazing blues
Great amp! Put a V30 into mine. The clean channel has a nice soft break up which is hard to appreciate [ hear ] with the original speaker. Nice playing and good tones. Never wanted anything to do with Orange. Then my old Kustom died and I decided I wanted a Vox AC15. Wasn't happy with the AC15 so the store owner started plugging me into different amps. When he plugged me into the CR60, I knew this is it and bought it. Also it takes pedals really well - OD in front and the delay/modulation stuff in the loop. Seriously. its a better buy than a Hot Rod Deluxe
Same experience here too !! Tried everything - ended with Cr60 ! Has a ( well broken- Played in )used V 30 speaker in it now too - adds much more Dynamics compared to the old speaker , Sounds perfect !
Man your BLUES playing is off the hook. Great phrasing and improvising. Like to see you do Blues only. It has alot of heart and soul. Can tell it's your favorite genre! Keep on cooking God is smiling down on you! Thanks for sharing!
Definitely the best review of this amp on the website. No stupidly driven amp sounds and fantastic playing. Definitely helped me make up my mind on buying this amp. Also can you tell me a rough estimate of your eq on the jam with the backing track?
I'm a long time Marshall/Vintage Fender amp kind of guy. The early solid state amps just didn't even come close for me. Although I still use my Marshall JCM 800 combo, I still love the Orange amps (I own two). Orange and Blackstar seem to have broken through the tube/solid state barrier, and I would play my Orange at any gig.
This is by far the best review I have seen for this amp. Great playing too, and a deep feeling of what blues music should be. Very inspirational! I have one question for you: if you had to choose between this amp and a Roland JC40, what would be your choice? Thanks, and keep them coming!
It really depends more on you. The Orange 60c amp has 1x12 and two channels with two tone stacks and its own tone characteristics and reverb. The Roland JC40 is a 2x10, one channel with a distortion that is on/off and makes the amp much louder that does not have a volume control for the Distortion, has a nice reverb and chorus. Really not the same beast. There are other characteristics that give it a certain tone such as true stereo. So the answer is ............ Depends where I am playing, what I am needing for that time. Thanks Friend :-)

Great review! I have this amp and just now starting to playing with it.. Sounds great bro!! Good demo!! Not sure what the others were watching with thumbs down🤔
Hello Mr. Booger. I have been playing guitar for only 10 months now and wanted to get your opinion of which amp you would choose between this orange 60 or the Fender Champion 100? Thanks in advance and God Bless
Hi Shannon! Thanks for the question. I like both of the amps and like to use different amps for different uses, but if I had to choose only Between those two amps I would choose the Fender Champion 100. Just my opinion, take with a grain of salt. Here is the video demo I made of the Fender: ua-cam.com/video/c5S-bkcZ1UQ/v-deo.html
I just bought this amp; then I see you're a brother in Christ and that really cheered me up! Subscribed :D Btw, I have a guitar custom/repair shop if you care to check it out. Victor...
For Rene go with the Roland Jazz very clean this amp clean is a little dark Willie you done a demo with Fender champion 100 I think your blues sounded much better on that amp but as always you sound great anyway thank like your imput
I’m close to pulling the trigger on this one. The clean sounds like a no brainer. Does the dirty tones sound more tube like than the champion 100? I like the champion but the dirt falls short for me.
Both are fine. The Champion takes a certain setting to sound right to me. On the distortion channel, most of them sound like the amp is broke if the gain is all the way up. Until you get to a certain setting and I really like it. Everyone looks for something and hears something a little different. Either amp will do good.
Sounds great! Any chance you remember your volume/gain settings? I can't seem to get my clean channel to pick up at all unless my guitar volume is cranked.
Hi Brother.. Im looking at this amp actually or the cr120, I have the cr35 and love it, Have you had any issues with this amp at all? any inpput would help. does it take pedals well?? TY God bless
Hello, IJust purchased a CR60C from guitar center and love this amp, how does this compare to a 120, I figured the 120 was way to much power for me but didnt want to sacrifice the tone of going with the CR60c, Is it okay I went with this instead of the 120? is there really much diffrence in sound between the 2, also can gig with a CR60c? Thx Will!
Can I use this amplifier on the stage? Because it's only 60 watts and i worry about the potentially. Do you recommend to use on the stage or just on home? Thanks for your atencion!!!
Hi, Thanks :-) They are really not the same for me at all. The crush line definitively have their place. It really depends on the musician. What they would be looking for. Both are fun amps. If I had to pick between those two ....... I would want both. If I could not have both, hands down the Marshall DSL40cr. The CR version is more refined than the Marshall DSL40c. Take care :-)
