Awesome playing brother! I just picked one of these fine amps up. From the moment I hooked it up to my Elite Strat I knew it was the small watt amp for me! I also have a Hot Rod DeVille ML212 for superior cleans and window shattering wattage, but I was missing a low watt amp that just kicked butt and this fits the bill! From Fender clean to Marshall dirty it has it all and handles pedals almost as well as my ML212! Great video, review and playing brother! Blues on for Jesus!

I just started "stalking" your videos. I LOVE your playing. Your phrasing and touch are fantastic. There is no shortage of players with great technique, but often the musicality is sacrificed on the altar of speed or ego. You certainly have the technique, but the focal point t in your playing is clearly the music. Simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing. (from another guitarist who plays for Jesus Christ, though not as well as you!)
Have you tried the XLR out with speaker emulation? I play on the worship team at my church and amp volume is always an issue. If the XLR with speaker emulation sounds good enough, this might be a viable option for us.

Love the blues jam at the end, Willy! I just demo'd this today at Guitar Center. My 50's Tribute SG never sounded better! So I switched to a Mexican Strat w/a Humbuggy in the bridge, wow, just wow. Good thing I didn't have $600 on me or it would have been in my truck for the ride home. Demo vids don't do this amp justice!! Fender knocked this one out of the park.

I guess it's fortunate for me I can't play as well as you. If I could, I don't think I'd ever do anything else and probably starve to death. Excellent playing man, I recently purchased an Orange OR15 and immediately had issues with it, two replacements later and I have yet to receive a working amp, so the orange is going back and I'm getting a bass breaker combo, I really enjoyed your demo and that definitely convinced me to get one. I played the 18/30 version the other day with a tele thin line and was blown away by the tone, I know that this will sound great with my new Classic Payers 60s strat and my new American Elite telecaster, and still keep up with the orange Rockerverb MKIII I also have, that's what I like about this amp, it's so unique
Agreed! I picked up my Bassbreaker yesterday, went with the 18/30 since they only had the 45 and this one in stock, it sucks that it doesn't have reverb but pedals are cheap haha I would have liked an FX loop and reverb but the huge sound and two amps in one really appealed to me.
will it get over a heavy handed drummer though that is a question i always ask myself when shopping i have played one in a store in Florida a 15 watt combo version it sounded great in the store and compared to a blues junior beside it at the store i have to say i just couldn't choose they were both awesome sounding amps for the price
Amazing and if you have a band you should come play on the Mississippi gulf coast. We have several festivals and clubs in Gulfport/Biloxi and you'd be a hit.
It is most likely not the tube retainers. It is the common "Tube Rattle" that occurs in combo tube amps. Vibrations from the speaker. Eurotubes sell silicon tube rings that help a little with that. I hear it in any tube combo amp I ever owned, which is an embarrassing amount of tube amps.
@@WillyBooger that's weird becuase I've owned several through the years and never heard any. I have an AC15 that is very quiet in that regrad. I had an AC4 that had horrible tube rattle. Then I got htis bassbreaker and it was worse. I removed those retainers and it helps a lot, but the rattle is still there to a degree.

I like Both. They are both great with very different tones. They have different feature sets that set them apart. I would pick different amps for different shows.

Everyone hears something a little different. I feel the Bassbreaker has its own sound and Peavey has their sound. Both companies produce amps with similar options depending on what amp it is.
Hi Willie, know your a fan of the PV classic 30. Am deciding between the BB 15 combo and the PV C 30. Which is your preference if you had to choose between them?
I like having several amps for different situations. The Peavey Classic 30 is not the same amp at all. It has two separate channels. The BB 15 has one channel really. Both are great. If you need only one channel, the Blues Breaker 15, if need clean and distortion 2 channel amp the classic 30. Thanks.

I was looking at getting the marshall dsl 15 as I think I need a low watt for home and band practice and the occasional small pub gig, now confessed which is better dsl 15 or this bassbreaker 15, combo would be easier to carry around. Any ideas
I am not sure....... I really like them both. I guess if I had to only pick one between the two.. The Bassbreaker 15 because it is a little more versatile with the different distortion stages. But, that would probably be the only reason. If you ask me a different day, I would probably pick the opposite ... lol I guess having both would be the resolve :-)
I own a limited edition of this amp ( with greenback ). I use it in a 2 amps set-up with a blues jr being driven wet and the bassbreaker dry. Very happy as each amp complement each other so well, the jr being very scoopy and the bassbreaker very "mid". Customers have to be aware that the bassbreaker gets all that gain through an analog circuit ( TS type ) driving the pre-amp. So you can do with this amp without a proper OD pedal. Actually you can reproduce the structure med gain tones with a TS in the effect loop while structure is in low position....You can reproduce structure hi gain by adding a second TS overdrive in the effect loop with structure in low position....Only downsides are a very noisy effect loop, pathetic line out cab sim and no footswitch. I run a noise gate in the effect loop and it is then very useable. Very versatile little studio or practice amp :)

I like the Blues Tones from the Fender a lot. C30 has a nice classic rock sound.

They are both comparable. One not better than other.

Jane Anderson I had the DSL15 but returned it. Gain was fizzy and amp was meh. I love the new BB15 for all the reasons that Willy identified.

Any type of music can be used to worship God! Even metal! Yes I said that!! He doesn't care about music he cares about your heart!! And if metal (with good message on the lyrics) touches your heart and you feel thankful to God because of that message thats just the most sincere worship!
