I understand John Schnider is the one who has made all the decisions on coaching hire. Obviously coach had some influence on it but that’s a John Schnider move.
Good job! I don’t think Seattle trades down. I think they pick Penix at 16 (if available) and then trade Geno to whichever team needs a backup right there at the draft scooping up another 3rd or 4th round pick. That will be used to acquire the line necessary to protect him. This city will explode with excitement and anticipation should that play out.

Aden Durde? He's primarily a defensive line coach but now a DC for the Hawks so he will probably be working with those guys mostly.

In what way?
They got rid of Carroll, one of the oldest and most experienced coaches for the youngest coach in the league. Theres going to be growing pains. On top of that you got rid of Bobby Wagner a high character guy and replaced him with a guy who has been investigated for domestic abuse. I have no faith in there ability to draft. Every year them seem to reach for a player to early or trade back and not get a player they need. I'm a 35 year Seahawk fan and I think there doomed.

@@Dor98 I see what your saying, but I essentially have the same thought process as you except it’s flipped. To me they let go of the oldest coach with an outdated mentality and system and got the youngest brightest defensive minded coach with a transformative system. They let of of Bobby while style great in the run has completely lost his speed and can’t cover for one of the best pass defending LB. In my opinion a Line backer that can cover is exponentially better the a run stuffer in this day and age. You say we can’t draft, a lot of people say that’s because of Pete Carrol getting in the way of Snyder(I have no clue tbh) but anyway we just had too great back to back drafts. I think the feature is bright
The new culture will go over well with all the Zoomers coming up. It's deadpan and lifeless. The players will be able to relate. These press conferences have been insanely boring. My eyes glaze over any time anyone on the staff talks. Bunch of robots in there. I hope I am wrong, but I really don't think this team will do well under this new staff.
Buddy its a new staff gang , everybody is still Learning each other. A lot of players are talking highly of our coach/staff , it’s great and it seems a lot of players are fine with him and actually seem excited and have something to prove
