So I hired 3 different editors on Fiverr and here is the result... Today we took a look at 3 montages at $10, $50 and $100 to see which one is the most bang for you buck. They edited 5 of my best clips at different price points and we get to look at the results! Let me know which was your favourite and which one you would pay for yourself!

tornado's montage was absolutely insane.
I personally like the 50$ one best though, because it's just a really nice montage, that showcases the shots and that's what Im looking for in a montage.
if the $50 added some cc i think it would have been perfect (or stronger cc because i can’t tell if it already has cc or not)

Tornados was actually really sick. Not only clean editing, but all really nice transitions. Of the first 3, I really liked the 3rd best because it is fast paced. I realize it was short and I think a lot of people voted 2 because of that and maybe because it didn’t look like it had as much going on but if you’ve ever done video editing and are trying to synchronize footage with fast paced music, you’ll tend to run out of footage to use a lot faster, which is why I think it was so short compared to the rest. I personally would rather see a full 3+ minute montage from the 3rd editor cause I know that sort of editing takes a lot of time to produce which in my opinion looks more appealing

I liked most of the montages so I'd like to share my opinion on all of them:
Shiny is very creative, because they tried a lot of things like overlays, transitions, effects, but it seems they don't know how to put the pieces together. If they keep at it they'll become really good.
Sickii did such a great job with the composition, I like the transitions, and love the use of cinematic bars for dolly cam shots. The flow of the montage was really nice in general and creative. I will definitely start using cinematic bars more often from now on.
The most memorable moment in Ibbi's montage is that they used the Farmstead arena and Utopia Colosseum as the outside (5:17), which looked really good, they also had a lot of good effects, but sometimes it felt like a clip was dragged out too long so it made the pacing feel a bit off.
Tornado was the most creative one by far. Every moment is satisfying to watch. I like the seamless transition at 7:02, and really love the sequence from 7:04 to 7:14.

When I all clips with Tornado's included, I forgot about the 50 and the 100 clips already. For some reason the 10 dollar clip stuck with me. Not saying it was the best, but it looked to me like he had a very nice idea, just not the experience to brush it off very clean. Anyhow, everyone did a very amazing job, I love to see people's creativity. Well done to all of them
50 dollar montage was definitely my favorite. But tornados was DEFINITELY an extremely close second. All of them were definitely great though. Awesome job!
I love in the last montage the dong he used. "couldn't get any closer" and the first three shots you see are INCHES away from being rebounds

Sicki's was sick because it really showcased the shots instead of the cinematics, while still having cinematics. I used the watch a lot of Halo montages, and I remember the era where it got hard to tell what was going on because it was so over-edited. I feel like many editors make that mistake, but Sicki's was definitely best bang for buck.

Tbf, these are all really good for their price. Most Fiverr videos are more like a shitshow showcasing how you get scammed on the website, but this was high quality content by the editors ngl

They have sick edits for the right prices and all all but Tornado reminded me why he is THE EDITOR. xD I wonder what kind of video the 3 Fiverr editors would make they were at a different price.
Example:
-the $10 editor if you paid them $50
-the $50 editor if you paid them $100
-the $100 editor if you paid them $10
I think that be cool to see but I doubt they’d do it. Lol
The 50 buck one was better cause it seemed more about the shots than the flashy edits.

I liked the 50 dollar one best
If the $100 one didn’t have that much screen shake, it would have easily been the best one. Screen shake is super distracting and is only beneficial in small quantities.
Tornado is cracked
Second was best. Third should have done a better edit on the final clip to sum it up. The edit was flashy and he just shows you stumbling around inside the goal at the end when it should have been edited out. The final clip and the first clip are most important. It sets the tone and wraps it up. Both need to be banger clips and best part of the edit. Just shows spending more doesn’t mean you get better. Just means they tend to be more noticed. Soooo many underrated amazing players editors and content creators.
paying a higher price doesn't mean the editors are "more noticed" or "make the edits too flashy" it's actually really hard to create edits like the edits showcased in this video. People just hate proper edits, all they prefer nowadays are highlight videos. No one actually understands how hard it actually is to make them.
@@Ibbyvfx I make edits and these edits are good prices. I’m just saying no one will pay a random person that has no following 100$ to edit a video for them unless it’s to make a video like this one. Lol

However, actually in the RL editing scene there are loads of people who would pay that money… who actually understand rocket league editing properly.
