The music to "Smile" was written by Charlie Chaplin in 1936. Lyrics were added by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons in 1954 and the song version was first recorded by Nat King Cole in the same year. "Smile" was the song I sang in the Battle Round of "The Voice Kids UK" 2018.

I keep enjoying this one, more than the rest of Lucy (and Martha's) oeurve. It's Louise. As a parent I get it. She is just having a good time with her kids. She loves them, she is so proud of them and she knows they are wonderful people. Look how relaxed she is, laid back and simply enjoying the moment. And the girls are feeling it too.
