Another reason is to not piss off other people who stand there with full equipment on their back and have to wait till you do your stupid things right next to them
It is a bit funny that you talk about "motor out awareness" while flying very fast very low over a gravel road and not using power attack or similar. I would generally only do that fully accelerated (on the speedbar), so _if_ the engine quits, you have some energy to quickly exchange for altitude and a drop in speed, giving a better chance of not tumbling. That said... you are of course right. Just a funny video backdrop to those words ;-)
huh. I like that. Flying faster while you're closer to the hard stuff is more dangerous, but might be worth it if it gives you a few feet when you need it.
I've seen this far more at flyins. pilots showing off. rushing to to airborne etc. I've seen a pilot showing off doing wingovers very low over a crowd of people. And power lines etc. There's always gonna be one. Live and learn or learn and live.
But how can anyone appreciate my superb flying skills if I don't show off over the LZ?😅
😂😂
Brilliant advice, so simple but so much safer thank you

Makes perfect sense. Thanks for the tips.
Excellent advice! Thank you!!
Great thing to keep in mind, thanks :D
Excellent advice.
Good advice.
Preach it! 👊🏻
Absolutely brother
ESPECIALLY at busy LZs where pilots are coming and going and don't need you throwing wake everywhere or cutting them off.
thats some beautiful country 1:50

Windshear, wind shadows and dust devils are killers as well…
if those things are present, you should not be in the air anyway.
Cool
