I fly a parajet but im sure a hard smack on the ground would leave me wishing for some crumple zone. Hopefully Dell isnt too upset with your critiques. Would love to fly with you guys one day. Aww this is a great interview and honestly goes a long way towards healing a massive rift in the paramotor community which exists. And its not all Dell against the world, I was parked over near the Flattop crew and they would regularly get pilots flying by yelling out nasty shit at him and his kids. That's not cool and the group attack on them needs to settle down as well. Trevor wants to get along with everyone, the community needs to extend them the same respect regardless of what you think of the gear. The hate has to stop.
That's a shame, don't get me wrong, I've had a few choice words for Dell before, and personally, the gear isn't for me, but screaming obscenities at his kids is downright pathetic. Hoping this can start a new chapter of understanding for the community.
I honestly didn't think anyone could do it, but with one interview you are actually healing this terrible wound we all have after years of watching Dell rant and rave like a lunatic. It was never so much about the Falt top design or the Dominator design, it was the stigma of being attached to Dell. Trevor seems like a cool and reasonable guy, this is exactly what we need in the sport.
What you call rant and rave comes from your dislike. As I have always said, Dell's focus is on safety for NEW PEOPLE to the sport. The vast amount of people that get trained never stay with the sport. I have not personally heard Dell talk about experienced pilots or what they fly. He is quite outspoken when it comes to students and putting them on gear that is barely safe for pros. Pro's die on those wings all the time.Bottom line if you are new and safety is your top concern get real training. Regulations and ground school are things you can learn from a book, video and other people. Paying for that isn't a priority. Paying for skill that WILL save your life is money well spent. Many of Dell's detractors are scammers. Then you you have the majority that just parrot them and have never met or even really know his philosophy talking out their ass.
So many golden moments in this interview, Trevor looks at Ross like "don't attack me" when he walks by.. lol.. but in all seriousness I'm glad Trevor is bringing super training out of Dells chitty shadow. Awesome job judson 🤘👏👏

I’d like to see these two fly in Trevor’s home base canyons on their weapons of choice. Just some stunning mountain ranges, open fields and a picturesque lake. BOTH excellent, experienced pilots - even if Judson has only been flying a few years. He’s a fast learner and killing the game.
14:11 is WAY to damn short for this video!! I was watching the progression bar as this video played and actually got super anxious that this video was about to end, just wanted more for sure. Judson has found the missing link for unity in this sport, both of these guys are super cool, bridging this gap will help this sport grow leaps and bounds. Trevor, your going to take this company to the next level, Judson, you ARE the next level. Great video.
I am kinda bummed we left before getting a chance to go say hi. It was Dell and his Flattop videos that first introduced me to paramotors some 10-12 years ago. After quickly catching on to his M.O. I went with a different school. If Trevor is the new face however then I’d gladly stop by for a visit. Looking foreword to the Dell interview!
Judson. Absolute golden interview. Loved the whole thing, but what struck me was the technical knowledge you 2 have and how much benefit people would get from you doing these types of interviews to talk about different PPG subjects more often. Wings, motors, companies, harnesses, set up, safety, etc etc. The subject options are endless and I think it could be a real boost to your channel, and something that really isn't out there. You have a wealth of experience, skill, contacts etc and on top of that you're relatable and fun. You should have 400k subs, seriously.
Great job, hope you don’t catch a lot of flak over it. Truthfully, as someone with some GA experience, I think if the FAA certified paramotors, most of them would look like the flat top or sky tap. Thanks for posting.
That’s my goal. It’s such a small community, and at the end of the day, we’re all running into the sky with a piece of fabric and a fan. It’s all being taken way too seriously. Fly safe and have fun
@@JudsonGraham And if you tell the unvarnished truth you will get the same response as they gave Dell. He was one of the first in the sport. He is the only one I know that puts safety above everything. A little performance sacrificed on the alter of safety is a very good thing. Pilots that stick with the sport and live buy way more stuff then the ones that die. So many lose that reasoning on the quick buck because they are there to get in and out. It's about the money not you.
I don't fly but I've been thinking about getting into paramotoring for years now. Occasionally I'll watch a Dell video. That dude is a lunatic! With that being said, I heard one time he was standing up to a judge for some stranger about our 2nd amendment rights. That was great! Trevor seems like a good dude.
This is good to see! This sport takes a lot of confidence and can create to big egos, with maturity you learn to get along and advance a wonderful sport. It's ok to be different and have opposing opinions with out ridiculing the others.
So it is OK to improperly train people and sell them gear far above their skill? It's OK to not speak out of the perils of equipment? Isn't that what is wrong in this world today, we just blow with the wind for the fad of the moment? Few have standards and lines they don't cross.
Dell is a passionate guy that can be bit abrasive at times, but I still think he is a good guy and means well. This was a much-needed interview with Trevor...I think the sky is the limit for this company with Dell and Trevor with Dell having so much knowledge and Trevor's cool demeanor.
After having done business with him, I would have to disagree. He has been deceptive with me and misled me from the beginning of my relationship with him as a customer. I purchased a paramotor that he knew he couldn't provide and it's been 7 months and I'm still without the equipment I paid for. He will not provide a shipping date and states that he will not cancel my order and refund my money. These dishonest business practices are unconscionable. I regret ever doing business with this outfit. I had no way of knowing it was this bad. Now, I'm out almost $10,000 in gear and I'll have to retrain because it's been so long.
Great interview, Judson! Just want to provide a few factors that (in my opinion) increase safety: 1. Comfort and ease of handling the motor on the ground. If you're struggling with an awkward, heavy frame it's going to steal some of your focus, which can be disastrous in tricky launches. 2. Control. Gooseneck bars are my choice so you have better weightshift authority and thus better control. 3. Newer wing design. Wing safety improves with time, as companies innovate and update their designs. So I'd rather fly a newer design as long as I can find an independent, professional test report on it. I can't seem to find independent test reports on the Dominator wing, so I'd rather put my trust in something like a Mojo or a Spyder which you can look up the test results for and have an idea what to expect in different situations. Just a few thoughts on my preferences for gear. Gear that gets out of your way makes flying less of a hassle, more fun and allows you to focus more.
@@TrevorSteele1 Nope. Haven't seen any here in Finland yet. Each to their own, if you enjoy the gear you have, then you're golden. Fly and enjoy! Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to diss your choices, gear is very personal and these are my preferences and opinions that I feel improve my safety when flying. I respect you for training people and getting more people in the air. Giving the gift of flight is priceless.

My wife and I ordered a Flat Top paramotor April 3, 2023 only to find out later that the Flat Top was no longer in production. He did not tell us at the time of order that they were no longer in production and that he had nothing to sell. He stole almost $10,000 including money for a reserve parachute and shipping costs from us. He states that he will not issue a refund. He is deleting my customer inquiries on his Facebook page and has shadow-banned me on his UA-cam channel. This has been my introduction into this hobby and now I cannot even fly due to this man and his dishonesty. I just want to take the time to let everyone who might be contemplating doing business with this man to beware. I would recommend staying away from him and saving yourselves a lot of money and trouble. I sincerely hope this helps someone out there to avoid what we're going through. Plot twist: His dad dragged his name so much he changed his sons last name so when he gave the business to him people did not immediately associate it.
I’ll never forget, the first year I was in the sport (2017), I was commenting on a YT video where a fellow flyer was asking a question on his video about troubleshooting an engine. I shared my experiences i was having to compare notes. Out of absolutely nowhere, Dell comments, attacks me and goes on and on about how I don’t know anything and I’m on unsafe gear and blah blah blah. I’m like, who is this guy?? Here was just two guys sharing notes and this Yahoo inserts himself and goes off. So strange and psychotic. Trevor, if you ever are going to be successful, you’ll need to disassociate yourself from Dell. Until then, you’ll live in his shadow and his stink will infect and negate everything you try to do with this biz.
So you get assed up because your ego gets bruised? You didn't have the ability to listen because of your ego? Weak minds can never build strong anything.
Dell has ruined his product for me but the beautiful aspects of the flat top keeps me curious as to whether its worth buyin the product or not. This CEO is a good salesman. Sadly nobody seems to have a school with multiple types of companies as an option to purchase. Each school takes on their favorite and sell only one type of ppa package.
I ordered a FT paramotor 7 months ago and I still have not received it and FT won't give me a ship date and they say they won't cancel and refund me. I was misled from the beginning and what I've been put through as a customer is unconscionable. This is the most unprofessional company I've done business with. To say I regret doing business with them is a gross understatement. It's been a terrible experience from the beginning.

I'm very impressed with this interview!!! Good job! Both of you!!!
Great interview. Nice to see the meanness put aside for honest talk. Justin, do the Capt. Next. :)
Why thank you buddy
This is one of the better things I have seen in this sport in.a while as far as how we will be judged by the general public and new pilots
@@JudsonGraham If you are not at 100k+ by the end of 2022, FTW, what the hell are all these other ppl watchin, that "old guy Tucker?" lol.
This is gold J-Gramz. It's hard to find perspectives on all the gear out there.
Awesome interview Judson!
Mark from Florida Here. (. Mark's Powered Paragliding Florida ). I love you guys,. Super cool interview ☺️
This makes me feel better about flat top
This guy is way better for flat-top very personable he cokes across well
Where can we find the interview you reference with Dell?
Thank you! I’ll try to get more
Great job, hope you don’t catch a lot of flak over it. Truthfully, as someone with some GA experience, I think if the FAA certified paramotors, most of them would look like the flat top or sky tap. Thanks for posting.
Wow. See this is how we can come together. Give up a little pride and prestige and just enjoy what we have in common 😊🤟🏻
Love to see two briliant pilots in my most favorite sport ,unity is awesome between you .... :)
Well done, gentlemen. Great interview.
We need the Dell video!
Trevor seems cool. Great job with the interview Judson!
Very well done video Judsonbaernt you rock
Much respect on this conversation boys.
Nice morning commute podcast this morning lol thanks!
Great interview. Keep up the great work Judson.
Great interview, Judson! Just want to provide a few factors that (in my opinion) increase safety:
I must ask, have you tried a Flat Top or a Dominator?
@@TrevorSteele1 Nope. Haven't seen any here in Finland yet. Each to their own, if you enjoy the gear you have, then you're golden. Fly and enjoy! Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to diss your choices, gear is very personal and these are my preferences and opinions that I feel improve my safety when flying. I respect you for training people and getting more people in the air. Giving the gift of flight is priceless.
Damn dude! You're good!!!
Uniting the whole damned thing? Are you gonna talk to Kurt next? Just curious...Nice Vid Judson...
Trevor steele is the god damn ghandi, uniting our community to end the hate. This is very topical too, just a couple days ago there was a bunch of hatred towards the flat top in a facebook comment section, Trevor was there as well. It was sad to see such anger.
If you want to enjoy the sport more, stay away from that Facebook page. A lot of people in that group give all of us a bad name. I have to laugh, I said all of us, I’ve never flown a paramotor before but I’ve watched 1000 videos on them from all of you.
Trevor is a good ass dude and he deserves no hate. Same with all of us, lets just have fun together!
Great interview, well said Trevor.
Hey Judson, been waiting on the Dell interview, did you post it and I missed it or are you still recovering from the experience? lol
Not posting it. It’s really not beneficial to the community
I agree with (para ninja.). let's have total respect for all. we all live in a world of chaos ... let's try not to make it even worse. and yelling in front of the children.... it's not cool at all.. it took me a long time to learn respect.... life is too short... lets put out good vibes for all. let's try.... iam no angel. ill rather be good. than bad *
Your awesome man Great idea! you always impressing me with your video content! Love watching your channel. You’ve came a long way from your first flight. Keep up the good work and fly safe 🍻
LOL good luck trying to bust through capt. kirks ego...LOL ...not to say you have any desire to interview him...awesome to finally see some peace talks appear...so many egos in this community it seems. bust out the peace pipes boys! really look forward to the dell interview, this is breakthrough material, I always liked Trevor. Judson I love the way you mingle and interview the PPG community and dont just shine the camera on yourself , salton sea interviews were epic, keep em coming! you and your camera girl got something going here.
still waiting for dell interview, was told it will be released last thursday ...judson must of got busy,
Where do we get to watch the interview with Dell? (For entertainment)
Good interview bro..paramotor celebrity Chanel...
Wow ! Im so happy you made this to happend
Buckled up! Let’s ride.
Try hard to find someone reputable and do your homework first.
Thanks it really does, sad to see great ideas go to waste on people with bad decision making skills.
@@wm9782 Yes, and it's worse than that. He's engaging in criminal activity now by defrauding customers. I've heard from others who have been victimized by him as well.
So super proud of you Trevor! Your character, integrity, and humility shine through this interview! I’m proud to be a part of this group! Thank you Judson for encouraging the unity of this sport!!
Thank you Rachel!
So,wow ! Dell ,love you man ,super Dells experience and dedication to this sport has pushed everyone's ambition to improve ! I want to fly again ,will need a trike
What do you recommend for schooling in the Los Angeles area?
Was a great interview
Excellent interview
Well done Judson.
Nailed it! Thank you!
Good Job Guys! Great content
Go trevor!
Sorry i had to interrupt your interview. My bad Judson my bad. It was just a really great conversation I couldnt help it
great video
Nice video guys!
Plot twist: His dad dragged his name so much he changed his sons last name so when he gave the business to him people did not immediately associate it.
Dell's my uncle, not my dad and I've never had the Schanze last name!
Actual last name!
I’m impressed.
Wow great review
If you never stop learning, where does that put Dell?
in his own special magic place where he is on top of the world while we are only monkeys who WILL DIE for sure because we dont buy his 15 year old crap? 😅
Are you going to release the Dell interview you said you did?
Probably not now.
@@JudsonGraham why?
@@themaaciek Probably because this video struck a really positive chord and Dell is.....well you know. Do we realy need to see another manic rant that will just muddy the water? I don't think so.
This kid is really cool
lol, you cut it off at "Dell is a piece of crap" and didn't leave in the rest. I was interested to hear the "but..."
I loved this interview. It doesn't compensate for the damage Dell has done. I will not buy this equipment because of Dell.
