Thank you for the info you share, Hayely. Appreciate it. I'd recommend putting BG music to ease the UI a bit with all of these information packed in this.
@12:56 - Making more than your time spent on a project (=i.e- pricing on your value like Chris Do recommends) - is a challenging mission, since most of the time we are not communicating with the client directly. There's a middle man who takes care of production, script, etc. If we talk directly with a client as Animators - then it would probably be a smaller client=i.e Also smaller budget. How can one get out of this cycle? Of pricing only by work time?
Awesome videos, I love it. Question for you. What do you think about of all plataforms like Glassdoor, UpWork and others in the web, to make money? Thanx.....
I'm no expert but I'm guessing specializing in cryptocurrency advertising could be a good one looking for the next year, usually these newer companies that pop up in the bull runs have a lot of money and invest heavily in marketing, so I guess they could afford a big budget. I think banking and finance are fields that could have high paying clients that would prefer to hire someone that already makes that sort of content. Medical, pharmaceutical and dentistry are other interesting fields. I remember seeing some offers that wanted an animator that has experience making cells, microorganisms and stuff. I mentioned dentistry because I saw lots of Invisalign-like companies but cheaper, that rely a lot on their web and marketing to compete with the original one. Idk just my 2 cents
Thanks so much @natasfresas for replying to this! My addition to this comment would actually be to find what you're passionate about! If you have a passion or deeper knowledge about a certain topic/subject/field then I'd definitely recommend doing that! Kelly Kurtz focuses her stuff mainly on outdoor adventure brands since that's what she loves, being outdoors going on walks etc! Is there any specific areas you think you're more knowledgable about? :)
What's your top tier motion design business idea? Let us know in the comments below!⬇

Nice rundown! I really like the sound of the productized service idea. Could probably spin some templates etc out of it too for digital products.
Thanks so much! Definitely a great idea! Do you know what your service would be?
