    OH wait a minute. Wallstreet might not be from Wall but from the dutch word Wal (a build protection against water) or Waal (people from the south of Belgium (Wallon) ) . Also Greenwich might not be from the word Green (groen) but from the dutch word GRENEN. Grenen means Pinus from Pinus tree. That means Greenwich used to be a place where pinus wood could be collected instead of a place with a lot of green nature stuff.
