Great video, I love the cornstarch tip! How stable are the colors on the raw clay... can you color them with alcohol ink markers or paint before baking? Or would that be best to do on cured clay?
That's a great question! They're very likely to smudge before curing. I haven't specifically trying adding alcohol inks, but I would guess they would smear. I'm really interested to see what you experiment with though. Let us know!
I really love the look of the printed Clay that you create. I don’t really wear jewelry, and I was wondering what are the most useful items you can make with printed Clay?
Absolutely, but it's important to note that the clay color will show through the ink. So, using a pink clay will turn the pattern pink. Some parts of the pattern may be a bit harder to see because of this. That's why we recommend white or translucent clays.
Some color changing is to be expected with most water-soluble transfers, but the change shouldn't be dramatic. Which transfer sheets changed colors on you? Is it possible that your oven temps were a bit higher than they needed to be?

Good question! You can make ornaments, wall hangings, wing chimes, bookmarks, magnets, coasters, plant decorations, etc. ☺️
Thanks.
You're welcome
Can you do this with coloured clay? will the transfer paper come off and leave just the ink ?

You can lay a very thin layer of white over your colored clay so your image comes out bright
Is this heat transfer paper?
No, this is water-soluble paper.
Why did mine turn orange?
