Just a short and sweet tool to help alleviate tight chest muscles. The real key is to identify why they are tight in the first place and address the underlying issues...
I did this technique tonight and I felt a twinge in my shoulder blade that I hadn’t felt before! I waited a few hrs because my upper left spine area was now irritated. I did it again and my upper spine cracked a few times and now no more pain. I’m wondering if I have a rib out of place rather than costochondritis…
Did you do anything other than this to get rid of the pain? My better half has been dealing with similar pain in her upper chest, trap, and shoulder blade.
Should definitely not be the only thing you do. You will need to look at scapular stability and mobility as well...Dr. lock's Big 3 for shoulders could be a good place to start.
when it comes to the shoulder pain, you need to identify which muscle is causing this. tightness in the chest, back, trap and bi/triceps. when you do this relaxation on your chest, make sure not push it so hard. i’ve been fighting the muscle tightness and pain for the entire time. i have hurt myself by pushing so hard against the rubber ball. you’ll have the inflammation and get it worse if you hurt your muscle. and, if this is not a muscle tightness, and you feel like it is a bone issue, there isn’t anything you can do. just relax the muscle. people has their own unique bone structure. some may have this collision in their shoulders. this is the gene. can’t fix that. but relax the muscle and this may help improve the shoulder mobility. lessen the pain.
great relief and simple excercise. Thank you very much
