Fellow UA-cam HSCC fans: please help acknowledge & thank BRAD for the joy & happiness that this man gives.
Bradley Polain is the best of the band ! All of them are very good but he plays the drums and sing and he so confident , I like also when sing a song of Phill Collins , he has nice voice .Bravo.....
Englishman in New York with a Caribbean calypso flavor? The Lego band did it again. Perhaps Kat doing vocals could be the cherry on top of the ice cream. Congrats!

As a drummer I love how he keeps the hi hat very simple, BUT has lots of soft ghost notes on the snare. Keeps it moving, but strong back beat. Such a GROOVE.

This is just beautiful! Thank you! When I hear Jason McMahon play that saxophone I am immediately reminded about how much better so much of 80s pop music was when the saxophone was a regular instrumental staple. Its rare that this instrument is utilized in modern pop music, and modern pop music is impoverished as a result. My compliments also go out to the drummer/vocalist, Bradley Polain. I always stand in awe of drummers who, on top of maintaining their tremendous dexterity, can sing well too. People like Phil Collins and Don Henley come to mind as some of the rare individuals who can accomplish this feat. On top of this being an excellent cover, I love the timeliness of this cover because it really speaks to the alienation felt by so many, whether they are an immigrant or not.
He is a great saxophonist! But if I'm not mistaken he's playing the clarinet in this piece! My grandfather taught music and played every instrument! But I could totally be wrong! Love this band! They're all great musicians!
@@annettecinquemanifalbo17 I don't know much about instruments, but the description under the title of this video states he is playing a "soprano saxophone"
As a saxophonist, I agree with you. Need more sax and perhaps brass instruments in today's music. This is why Phil Collins is one of my favorite artist.
@@annettecinquemanifalbo17 It's a soprano saxophone -- it's in the same key (B flat) and approximate range as a clarinet, but has a different timbre due to its metal construction, vs. plastic or wood for a clarinet.
Singing while playing a percussive instrument including the bass is probably one of the hardest gigs out there. Some do it effortlessly and i take my hat off to them while being extremely jealous 😁
You know I have been a Metalhead my entire life but I grew up on these songs so I get stoked every Thursday because you guys doing an Amazing song and job every week!!
Finally Bradley starring. Nice cover again. Although I missed the jazzy and heavy rock bars after the bridge. But still well done. Grtz from a Dutch drummer.
Hi guys, lying here in hospital in Melbourne and I forgot what day it was.. Friday is HSCC day. Thanks for the uplifting music.. Stay safe, stay well. Regards Michael (an Englishman in Victoria)

I love this drummer. Every time he nails it perfectly and it’s GREAT to see him sing lead for first time . But many drummers sing and play cause the beat is very simple like a drum machine and easy to concentrate on vocals. I just noticed that this is the only drummer I’ve ever seen that hits the snare and doesn’t lift up stick after each beat. Strange but Brad always plays excellent time. Love the ending comedy. Come to USA

As a drummer myself who can't sing to save his life, I can only shake my head in amazement at Brad's ability to play drums and sing that well.
he is outstanding, his backing vocals wow, and great to see him take the lead vocals.
Thanks so much! You are too kind 🙏
And as a tenor man who can't play a soprano to save his life, I am in similar amazement at Jason's tonal mastery on that little devil of a horn.
Practice, practice and more practice. Really excellent
But can you spin the stick in you fingers though?
