Do you know if the finger print reader will work if you put a screen protector on? I have the 6a and mine works really poor with a screen protector on

Starting with the 7 series they include a feature where you can adjust the sensitivity of the screen sensor for a screen protector. I have a 7A and I am not hard on a phone so I've never used a screen protector so I can't say how well it works. Mine also has fingerprint resistant glass which I love so you would lose that feature with a screen protector.

​@@bobthbldr3do not apply a screen protector on to your 7a . I have the Pixel 7a aswell and the screen protector doesn't read your fingerprints properly . It takes a while for it to read it

​That feature is on the 6a as well, I owned one a few months ago with a screen protector and a rugged case with stand. I remember enabling the setting to up sensitivity with a protector. ​@@bobthbldr3
