Great review, I just purchased the R1 Pro model here in NYC. I have a unagi scoot now but my work place requires a scooter that you can take the battery out of so I hope I like this scooter as much as the unagi voyager.

I love the solar panel and the cybertruck look of the scoot :)

To be honest I would just buy solar panel for xiaomi m365 and have quiet better riding feeling.
    Greets :3

You right with the panel - it works for any scooter, but I am happy companies are innovating and thinking differently instead of just making m365 clones :) And I quite like riding this one - more than the m365 due to wider and bent deck

@@VRMinde that's true about making another clone of m365, they should think something like pine phone but scooter, make every component easy to swap to let people but one scooter and upgrade it in time

Great review, Scooter is not for me though as im happy with my modded M365 pro (but there's no harm at looking at what's on the scene). In all fairness, i am interested in the solar panel though (price separate?). P.s is there any chance you could work in MPH and miles (as well as KPH and KM) for your English and American viewers? cheers.

Hi, I could of course add the mph/miles, good point, thanks! I do not have a good comparison of this specific solar panel to other ones, but I use this one a lot on my boat, mainly for charging phones/tablets. Charging the scooter takes a bit long, so if you don’t need a scoot “today” and only need it tomorrow - it works. There are so many solar panels on the market though, a hard choice!

@@VRMinde Yeah ichecked the price and its around 175 quid (GBP) Sod that, i could make one with panels from Aliexpress and a converter for far less outlay (but for convenience for others it's cool) as i prefer to build my stuff (or at least learn)

P.s the video I commentated on yesterday and you replied has disappeared?

    • @VRMinde

Yes, I made it private. As expected, the seller did not like it and asked if I could remove it. I did agree with them they had no control over my content, but did not specifically agree in advance if I should display the video overall or not. Their argumentation was that I should have recached out to them and they would have implemented improvements to the product, said they were going to do it now anyways. Long story short, I decided to make it private now and specifically agree on this part with every product provider in the future. I am still not sure if I did the right thing taking it down or not 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@VRMinde Good on you man for sticking to your guns, to be fair it was just constructive criticism and to be honest i reckon that's bull about them being like 'Oh, we were going to do that anyway' *If* you wouldn't have highlighted it, *nothing* would have been done. Now taking it down or not and bowing to their wims is entirely up to you really, they may not like it and decide not to give away review copies again (did you get to keep it? if not, i'd stick it back up and keep your integrity) unless you wanna play ball, up to you mate...Good luck!
