  • To increase the longevity of your puffer down jacket, we created this detailed video to share the best way to wash it. Read below for instructions!
See Decathlon puffer down jackets here: tinyurl.com/2hr...
Step #1: Zip up the front zipper and pockets
Step #2: Add 2 tennis balls to your machine to help redistribute the down
Step #3: Choose the cold wash cycle and ‘delicates’ or ‘hand wash’ if available
Step #4: Add 2 clean tennis balls to the dryer; the balls will help fluff up the feather filling
Step #5: Use the lowest heat setting and run a couple of spin cycles in your dryer
Step #6: Between cycles, give the jacket a shake and make sure the feathers aren’t clumping
Your jacket should now be light and fluffy!

It's a packable jacket right? So, why the advice to avoid scrunching/folding. I store mine inside of the packable pocket. A bit confusing...

They're talking about doing that after directly washing and drying it. You don't know if it's completely dry You need to let it set hung up for a while

It’s okay to have it compressed and stored in its pocket while backpacking or for short periods of time, but down should not be stored in a compressed state for long periods of time. This is similar to the proper storage of sleeping bags.
