I Bought a Cruiser Board for Filmmaking

- This is the Cruiser Yamba 500 - Palm Wood board from decathlon.ph. I bought this board because I want to use it as my gimbal for my feet. Riding a board while holding a camera just handheld can give you a stabilize footage especially when your shooting following shots, push in, push out, parallax action etc. It can really help you if you can't still afford to buy a very expensive gimbal.

I just bought this board and its really fun to use! Problem is everytime I pick up the board I always cut my hand because of the rough surface

Hey bro, how does it perform on rough road surfaces like rough asphalt that cars drive on? This board looks up my alley as I walk a lot to work and I'm kinda tired of that ha!

I'd like to start skating, would you recommdnd it for a beginner?? I need stability and I'm afraid that being smaller this could be too "dinamic".. But it would be very easy to bring it with me instad of carrying aroud a big heavy longborad.. Anyway nice video! Greetings from Italy 🌻
hundred percent will recommend that. The other reason actually that I bought a cruiser board is because it's light weight than the long board that I used from a friend. and yes I can easily bring it with me all day put in on my backpack. You'll gonna love it. It's smooth and steady

Just threw some Land Carver surfskate trucks on mine. Will test it out tomorrow.

@@vonsanchez27 they are 6.25inch trucks, so it made the board feel weird, but just need some getting used to. So instead, put the 6.25s on a 30inch custom cruiser deck. Now the Yamba sits alone with no trucks.
hi, i want to purchase this board soon. I'm from Russia. I have a few questions.
1. Does this board handle 45kg or more?
2. Is it possible to smoothly turn on it?
3. How fast can it accelerate?(km/hour)
4. Is it generally convenient to stand on it?

Up to 100kg is fine as I remember from the instructions. Turning is fine.
How fast you can accelerate is up to you. There is no speed limit :D but be careful.
The board is nice and fun to use.

Yeah! I have done quite some research on this. So, I think I will go for oxelo fish 500 surfskate which is faster than a cruiser. Is it right choice ? Is it value for money?Please drop your opinion

Depends on the road but in general it's pretty fast
It is but yeah it depends on the road. When you have a smooth road very perfect for it so smooth. And the trucks not that really big i forgot the size of it hehe you can check it on my description i have the link of the store their. But for me it is good not bad. The only thing i miss about it is the height of the board to the trucks so that I can fully curve you know what I mean. It can curve but not that really wavey as it is
