Yes, formula work on the base of how much cubic meter of water is in the pond...the volume of water is important..
My tank is 10000 litres
When am about to prepare my water in the tank , you fill 50% of water in 10000 litres and add your FCO when the floc is developed . So my question is after that will you add water to make the level to meet the 10000 litres measurement
Yes you can go for this method also by gradually increasing the water level to 10000 ltr or preparing the floc in 10000ltr water from the beginning itself .

Why is it that the culture time is so long? Tilapia is 3 to 4 mo's only,
Based on the mass or wight of the fish required as per the customer market the fish culture time is decided..Some markets require 500gms to 600gms weight and some market require 800gms to 1kg..
