I followed her recipe but instead used it for chicken cutlets and this came out so great. I even steamed buns and added pickles. there were none left. thanks mama from a single dad.
I’d like to add, I made this recipe today 09/02/24. FANTASTIC! I skipped the dry milk powder and it was probably just as good as the original recipe. Served it to my 4 year old daughter and my 21 old son. I’m a stay at home dad and like to make fun meals for them at home. Thanks again! The wife works from home and she also APPROVED! 👍🏼👍🏼
So I made exactly your receipt and it was AMAZING, taste just like Chik fil A, you have done an amazing job. Thank you so much. To all people watching this, this lady I would recommend to everyone.
Awesome. Made this for my son. He loves chicken nuggets from McDonald’s, but I don’t want to keep feeding him that garbage. Going to be making this every weekend for him. He likes this much more than fast food nuggets. Thanks !
Didn’t use pickle brine when I worked at CFA except for the strips being that way from the warehouse, still looks delicious tho! Pressure cooking with peanut oil makes that flavor pop!!!!
Gotta say I’ve fixed this recipe multiple times and I wanna say *Thank you personally.* You’ve taught many an amazing lesson on our favorite fast food.
Watched a Japanese technique which I thought was incredible. Just as you’re adding a little bit of wet dredge. She did the same but she rubbed the flower through the wet dredge... Through her hands which she work them back-and-forth sliding them forwards and backwards. This made flakes it looked just like Panko flakes... amazing results for the extra crispy texture you’re looking for. Sad I can’t eat anything like this. But I sure like watching these recipes.
Yes I read somewhere that they use powdered sugar in their coating and also MSG and that's likely why they are so addictive. For some reason I think the fillets are different from the nuggets though but that could just be my imagination
We use powdered sugar, my daughter found a Chik Fil A chicken recipe on tik tok from a chick fil a employee, and we've been making these occasionally for a while now.
Not sure what it does to the chicken except flavor it but I use pickle juice in salads as a dressing or simmer fresh veggie in it. Just adds a great tang to dishes. Also great to add to fish dishes.
Hi A.!!! Your nuggets look so...Yummy. This restaurant is no where near my town. I have never had it. When ever I get near Cleveland I will look for one . Other wise...I shall try your great recipe. Thank you. Looks very tasty!!!
My husband and I made this tonight and it came out really good. I did brine the chicken for an hour and it came out tender. I see why the chicken is brined. Thanks for sharing.
I actually got a bag of the real chickfila nuggets because the manager said they were going to expire on a Sunday. I took them home and did similar what you did but less spices because they come prepared. They tasted like Heaven's Nuggets.
Mandy Hoffman Hi Mandy! Try drying the chicken real well with paper towels. (From the package or after brining) Then I do flour, egg, flour. Hope this helps!
OH EM GEE! If you have shown me how to avoid sitting in those long Chick-fil-a lines.. you are my new best friend! 😂 the 1 place I will go when taking a break from cooking! Now give me the recipe for their cookies & I'll be a subscriber for life! Lol! You have some AWESOME recipes! Thanks for sharing! 💕
DELICIOUS recipe. I wouldn’t say it is a chic-fil-a copy, as it was way two thick of a breading (maybe with a single dredge?), but was very good. Made a second batch with smoked paprika, perfect with a Nashville Hot finish.
Tastes amazing! Next time we'll double up on the flour mix as we ran out about half way thru the second breading. Other than that, wouldn't change a thing. That pickle flavor - that's it! Home run.
Thank you. I have a long list of medical problems, so I have to be very careful what I eat. Making my own food is the only way I know for sure. But after a while, I miss the fast food I used to enjoy.
can you please link me to whatever that mixing bowl is? i've been watching your videos for years and i must have it. my wife and i make your tortillas religiously at this point. we have your cookbook and love everything you do! keep doing what you're doing!!! thank you!
Ohhh we don't have a Chick-fil-A where I live here in Canada so looking forward to trying your recipe!!! Seriously can you do a behind the scenes video or a 'how you record and edit your videos' video? Just want to let you know how inspirational I find you - Thank you Angela and God Bless!

I will have to put something out there for you. The bts process is a hot mess, so it will at least be entertaining. 😁😅

I see EXACTLY what you did uploading this on a Sunday! 😂👌🏻
Too funny! Anybody who loves Chick-fil-A will get your snicker! Lol
Closed on sundays lol

you can get whatever you want from chick fil a on sunday

I need to not watch videos when I'm starving. Looks so good.
First thought: "oh no she didn't!" Second thought: " oh yes she did!" lol love love love
🤣
Awesome. Made this for my son. He loves chicken nuggets from McDonald’s, but I don’t want to keep feeding him that garbage. Going to be making this every weekend for him. He likes this much more than fast food nuggets. Thanks !
I love that breading, and the nuggest looks just perfect❤🤩 thank you for sharing, have a nice sunday every 1😊
Well you are right!!
Didn’t use pickle brine when I worked at CFA except for the strips being that way from the warehouse, still looks delicious tho! Pressure cooking with peanut oil makes that flavor pop!!!!
No brine was used for the nuggets?
They were probably already soaked and frozen
I can taste the pickle juice in Chick-fil-A's nuggets. It's actually one of the first ingredients that I noticed.
@@deecorbid9912I’m a chic fil a manager, the nuggets are never brined in pickle juice
Never would of thought about brining in pickle juice! Ty for sharing!
Nuggets done right. Those look decadent.
Oh hey You guys, I’m definitely Gunna try this now!
My dumb ass was in the store looking for pickle brine come to find out the brine was the pickle juice. 😩
I HATE pickles what could I use to substitute? And does Chick-fil-A actually use that in their recipe???? 😕

You forgot Chic fil a secret ingredient. Confectionery sugar. Or powered sugar!😉 key to their chicken.
what do u do with this step put it in the rub? also how much
Probably most restaurant's secret since sugar is sooooo addictive 🥴
Yep they sure do!!!! Put it in the flour mixture...
I found driving up into their amazing service lines much easier, and the chicken tasted a lot better - - tough to beat Chick-fil-A
Just did this recipe tonight. Man, it's perfect. Thanks for the video and I will be making more this week for a football tailgate this weekend.
Where is the powdered sugar added in the seasonings?
Gotta say I’ve fixed this recipe multiple times and I wanna say *Thank you personally.*
You’ve taught many an amazing lesson on our favorite fast food.
I throw in onion powder, garlic powered and corn starch. It adds more flavor and texture to this already amazing recipe.
I'm going to make these without the cayenne pepper. My children will notice the cayenne heat in it. I'll use paprika instead. Thanks for sharing ❤️

Where did you watch it ?
Ha I feel this. I keep watching these videos but I have Ulcerative Colitis 😖
I love chicken nuggets. Homemade chicken nuggets are very interesting. Thank you for recipe. I will try this. Great Video!!!
It looks just like chick fil a but I would add a little sugar. The original nuggets have a slight sweetness to them.
Yes I read somewhere that they use powdered sugar in their coating and also MSG and that's likely why they are so addictive. For some reason I think the fillets are different from the nuggets though but that could just be my imagination

These nuggets look out of this world! My gosh!
Whatever the audience’s cmt but me, I like your recipe. I tried and love their tastes. It’s pretty good! 😋 thank you!
Merry Christmas!

Hey, does that pickle juice brine really make the difference? Just asking cuz I've never done that before
Not sure what it does to the chicken except flavor it but I use pickle juice in salads as a dressing or simmer fresh veggie in it. Just adds a great tang to dishes. Also great to add to fish dishes.
Just try it and see. what do you have to lose?

I forgot where I read it. It’s some scientific method but the vinegar in pickle juice tenderizes the meat so it’s much softer
The technique... Oh.. I love the details! You are such a great cook Mama!
Now I know why I should save the jar if pickle juice😍
Kiddos loved them deffinately sticking to this recipe thank you

What's her book called? Didnt know there was one. Thank you
Now we can have chic fil a chicken without funding their homophobic charities and beliefs! Love these copycat recipes, these look even better!
My husband and I made this tonight and it came out really good. I did brine the chicken for an hour and it came out tender. I see why the chicken is brined. Thanks for sharing.
what does pickle brine do to the chicken? which other juice can I use? Thanks
I make these almost identical to what you did. Delicious!!😋
I actually got a bag of the real chickfila nuggets because the manager said they were going to expire on a Sunday. I took them home and did similar what you did but less spices because they come prepared. They tasted like Heaven's Nuggets.
Looks great...Thank you. I also noticed you are getting close to the well deserved 1M mark.😃👍
Just awesome and amazing recipe. Thanks and stay connected 😍😍
Okay I’ve tried frying chicken twice and for some reason all of my breading falls off?? What can I do to prevent this from happening.
Mandy Hoffman Hi Mandy! Try drying the chicken real well with paper towels. (From the package or after brining) Then I do flour, egg, flour. Hope this helps!
If your oil is not hot enough your batter will fall off or get soggy. When frying make sure your oil temperature is at least 350 degrees
Let the chicken sit out for a little while before frying, it dries the coating a little bit and make sure oil is hot enough
Mandy Hoffman, do you mean coating it twice?
I want to thank everyone for the tips! Yesterday I was successful with my fried chicken and it’s thanks to y’all!!!
I just now made these for my kids. THey said it taste pretty good it just need a dipping sauce. Now im on my way to chick fila to buy some sauce
What a great little technique to drizzle some wet I to the dry. Definitely making these.
Mama strikes again! Love the channel and all the recipes!:)
Who down votes Mama and chicken nuggets? These look delicious!
I made this and my family love it Thank you for sharing

So what kind of pickles? I've never gone to that place. Sweet? Dill? Vinegar? Fermented? Thanks for reading! ❤️❤️🙏😎
Family absolutely loved this. I added a bit more Knorr chicken flavoring. Thank you.
I’m always scared of frying. If I do them in the air fryer would they still taste similar?
Yes it would work ive done it but the breading isnt as crunchy in my opinion and that fried taste isnt there but other than that its worth a try

why the milkpowder? Whats the functiuon of milkpowder? And why add milk to the egg if i may ask? Whats the function of the milk in the eggmix?

Call me crazy but I'm going to brine mine in pickled jalapeño juice. 🙂
Your crazy! Great idea Mike!
They turn it similar and very good!, but that isn't the chick-fil-a flavor.
when you don't want to support chick fil a cause they're homophobic but their food tastes really good
You dipped them in ketchup?🤦♂️
While Ketchup is often called "Texas Steak Sauce", I'm pretty sure that was Hot Salsa she dipped the nugget in.
I’m going to have to give this a try! 🍁💕

Can this be air fired using this recipe or does it have to be fried in oil? I'm not a cook, but trying to learn
Jesus built my hotrod. It’s a love affair.
Did you use lard, canola, peanut, or vegetable oil??
CFA does fry their chicken in refined peanut oil so that's what I'm going to use! :)
My exact question.
I would use Avocado oil.
