I wanted to share some (positive) thoughts regarding Striker as a whole: For the people in the comment saying other classes (like Deathblade or Reaper) do like 5x the damage of striker, please just look at the video of SH N with [2024 08 01] in the title, where he parses 125m DPS on Eso and a bit lower on Deathblow, thats nothing to scoff at. Besides this, you also need to keep in mind, that Striker will get another Eso skill with the Hyper Awakening update as one of the T-skills (and KR doesnt even have the points to fully deck out the ark passive yet, so maybe that changes up things again). This could be especially big for the Deathblow build since you can either free up one slot for another meter gen skill/mobility skill. I would wait until that skill is released and KR having full access of the ark passive system, to draw a final conclusion on the build performance and playstyle. I personally think the reset playstyle of the new DB looks really fun and provides a bit more versatility and agency over the character. Additionally, with the removal of Entropy in T4 it shouldnt feel that terrible if you miss the back attack indicator since you will only lose 15% (instead of 25%) from AM and the 10% crit + 5% damage from back attack itself. This is due to the new nodes in the ark passive tree which will give you a bit less value than what Entropy provided with the upside of also applying the damage increase even if you do not hit the positional indicator (the node is called "Strike" for those curious and will apply the directional crit damage to all directional skill regardless of hitting a positional or not). So you get a lot more damage out of the class due to ark passive in general, with a way higher damage floor, since the punishment of not hitting a positional is way less. Additionally, you get more safety due to playing with lightning kick, which is nice as well. I think its really good for Striker specifically. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day o/
TBH, the Spiral Kick build used with a single orb to reset LTS might be able to run Super Charge and that could help it feel much better than the builds with Tiger Emerges.
The problem of the class is simple: DB Striker got 0 flexibilty. His back attack and meter generation requirements are like shackles that slams the class on the ground. He can't be using any skills to relocate cuz if they don't connect he's not getting 4 bubles. He can't use any rune other runes than wealth cuz of how dogshit his generation is. He can't reliably land LTS cuz it's a charging skill. And to top it all off, he needs to be hitting the back permanently. They need to either make it non-positional, or design his kit in a way that facilitate back attacking. In that regard they could: - Make Sweeping Hidden Dragon a meter generating skill that can cross-up the boss. - Make Lightning Kick a skill that can cross-up the boss. - Make Phoenix Advent a meter generating skill. - Give paralysis immunity to Lightning Whisper - Remove requirement to charge up LTS. Just make it a quick and swift attack (as fast as Slayer's brutal impact). - Highly reduce/re-balance meter generation requirements (allowing for Storm Dragon Kick to be used only as a movement skill for example). This way, you could build up a DB Striker as follows: - Lightning Kick -> MOVEMENT SKILL and low meter generation. - Phoenix Advent -> MOVEMENT SKILL and low meter generation. - Sweeping Hidden Dragon -> MOVEMENT SKILL and low meter generation. - Storm Dragon Kick -> MOVEMENT SKILL and adrenaline upkeep. - Sky Shattering Blow -> HIGH METER GENERATION, counter and synergy. - Lightning whisper -> HIGH METER GENERATION and synergy. - LTS -> Damage. - Tiger Emerges -> Damage. With such a kit, possible rotations in T4 would look something like this: - ANY movement skill + ANY high meter generation skill = 4 bubles -> Damage. (Highest potential cuz of synergy) - 3x ANY movement skills = 4 bubles -> Damage. - 2x High meter generation skills = 4 bubles -> Damage. Low overall CD's to avoid rotation downtime. Rince and repeat. And that's it. Simple, fluid, straight-forward. More adapted to chase the back = easier dps uptime = less clunky. And also works better with the T4 stacking mechanic added. This would, IMO, make Striker a way funnier class. Fast paced kicking machine with a lot of mobility despite being full spec. The idea of quickly crossing the boss again and again, thx to Sweeping Hidden Dragon and Lightning Kick, before unleashing big numbers with LTS and TE would validate his entropy oriented design.
At this point as a striker main I don’t even know what playstyle would revive the class, perhaps bring the skills towards a super charge archetype or give gauge filling skills les clunkyness and some attack speed move speed self buff with a immediate release LTS similar to WD blue dragon.. but yea overall they need to cook up something DB feels bad and incredibly frustrating in most fights. Damage scaling has taken a huge hit compared to other classes that are just pumping super hard. I’m even getting gapped by DI shadowhunter in veskal

i mean at this point lets just also add the guranteed 100% critical hit on surge, on top of being an ability with low cooldown burst with fast stacking, and now omnidirectional? and also had push immunity while you use it LMAO because the whale may cry if you get push on the ground and interruput your surge dmg, and people think it require skill, go play gunslinger and use a focused shot at the wrong moment see how fast and often you get push to the ground without push immunity while having a long animation lock that Require spacebar to cancel it, and there is no other way , seriously why the surge also have push immunity? what high risk high reward people talking about lmao
The only way this class can get saved is the hyper awaking to be ESO and to have also charge on it , so he can now use super charge ENG for LTS and the hyper skill , thats the only scenario i see this class can survive
Another unreasonable cry. Its returning to main striken build. To old Build on 2 spenders. what difference between old 2 spenders striker and new 3 striker spenders? 2 spenders CAN MISS skills, have mobility. But actualy 2 best spenders is Tiger + Blast. And Blast have MORE DPS per ussage then Tiger actualy. and T4 Eso is CDR bonuses + swift/spec with 4 spender spam.
I believe striker still doing well over 100m in trixion. Meanwhile, top gear pred slayer is doing 80 lmao with current Ark passive potential. Save slayer 💀

I've always said Striker playstyle is absolute garbage. Our current West Striker is restarted already but the new T4 Striker is just a tinnyyyyyyyyyyy bit better but still needs to go back to the drawing board. I love the concept of the class and force myself to enjoy it or have hopes for a improvement all the time till now. Some restart will defo tell me for the 100th time "maybe its not your class" lol. People like these are the reason the game never gets better and I hope they hit their toes on the door. Jks aside they really should change up the playstyle and add new skills as well to actually make Striker feel like Striker. ***LIGHTNING TIGER STRIKE*** is the only single skill keeping me sane, so if y'all Strikers actually love your class then you should know the class seriously needs changes
I dropped my striker it's been 1620 for months now just sitting there. Don't do raids on it or anything. Just drop the class and move on they aren't fixing it. If you love it stay but why are you complaining if you love it. Doesn't make sense.
Striker got one of the coolest T4s, and fixed what most strikers had been complaining about. It's just weird to complain about the one thing that has been consistent throughout strikers' entire existence and the reason you picked the class in the first place. I'm all for buffing numbers if that's what it needs, but smilegate has given strikers everything they've wanted aside from removing umar laz and just removing striker entirely.
@@Dragonichh His t4 means you run 2 spenders and they have no cooldown basically. It's really unique and fixes a lot of its problems while leaning into why you would play deathblow.
@@Dragonichh with full ark passive upgrades you would only be able to use orbs at 4 stacks, your spenders would lose 1 bubble worth of damage for every cast but once you stack up to 16 orbs spent you can unleash one hit (the next spender) that does 80% (57.5% after the 1 bubble loss?) extra damage. so basically less damage during the 4 rotations while you stack up the buff, but 5th you do bonus damage. a lot of striker mains in korea just dropped their striker in favor of other classes like breaker in t4 and are complaining that nobody at smilegate is overseeing the striker class properly.
