for the most part what you said people wore in the early 60s (bright colors, patterns, white leather boots aka gogo boots and mini skirts) was mid 60s, miniskirts didn’t come in until 1964 when Mary Quaint designed it, and even then it didn’t become that popular until 1966. 0:35 was taken in 1969, and doesn’t represent the early 60s but rather the late 60s fashion. Also Twiggy is a mid 60s icon, not the early 60s (she was a pre-teen in the early 60s). Jackie Kennedy’s style more so represents the early 60s fashion, though most people in the middle class wore outfits that are very similar to the ones worn in the late 50s, only the hemline continued to rise slowly and silhouette became looser. The picture you used of Twiggy for the early 1960s slide at 3:48 was taken in 1966 which represents more of the mid 60s style, and definitely not early 60s. also you didn’t cover the late 60s hippie psychedelic style which was a huge part of 60s fashion, it came about in 1967 (likely attributed to the Beatles releasing their Sgt. Pepper’s album).

Till 1963 the style was still like 1950s but the length was below the knee instead of very long as in most 50s, but every change in 1964 to 1969 the fashion was the modern shift dresses and full of color and especially color blocking and yes wearing cute boots thanks to Twiggy

In the 1960s we called pull over sleeveless tops shells and capri pants were called pedal pushers.

Girls of the day were getting away from what their mothers wore,as Mary Quant said, flat shoes, running to the bus, shorter skirts, dresses, colour, and fun.
