This is a great helmet, as long as you keep it under 80-100 and keep 1/4 mile like take offs to a minimum.
Cons: buffeting at high speeds (80;plus) on naked/sportbike is really bad.
Visors are excellent and 2 are included but virtually no difference in sound w visor up or down.
Because of no rear vents/exhaust, riding at high speed w visor open causes even more buffeting and lift.
Pros: looks great and super light.
Great fit and finish, good overall quality and interior is excellent.
True 3 in 1. Even though in beanie mode you look like gazoo.
This is def not a race helmet. I think it's for specific styles and speeds. As a 2nd, 3rd etc helmet it's a great buy

For sure, this is a great helmet for that use case. Folks doing more highway time should probably check out the new Covert FX.

The Bell Broozer is similar to the Covert and Covert X, and on Revzilla it runs about $280, so it's a bit cheaper than the Covert X. The front jaw piece gives you protection from impacts too
Which came first, this or Harleys? I look up one and both show up. Someone borrowed the others blueprints?
Hey Matthew, Scorpion makes the Harley X04 & X07 helmets. It's the same helmet with a slight different vent pattern on the muzzle.
Looks like Scorpion manufactures those specific Harley helmets

I just got the Scorpion exo helmet, a few things to note..
I'm size M 58cm and this helmet does not fit. I only ride E scooter so not a big deal to simply remove side padding and it fits fine.
This helmet is big, a lot bigger than I thought. It's the booble head look I was afraid of so gotta wear a big jacket, hoody etc or it'll look extra odd.
It comes with 2 visors, no one seems to mention this so that was a pleasant surprise.
I think its ok but will definitely be buying a smaller helmet like Street fighter MT

Does anyone know , is the covert's chin mask compatible with exo combat helmet?
Many brands use different names in different markets (countries). The Scorpion EXO COVERT and EXO COMBAT are the same helmet, so yes chin bars would be interchangeable. COVERT X (the more recent version) has a different chin bar that would not be compatible.

They are not compatible as covert does not go full bucket due to foreign law and has different pieces

Just a question in this context: being crash proof and being crash proven/certified are two different things, aren't they? Afaik the helmet is not certified for offering face protection - what not necessarily means that it doesn't offer some kind of face protection. Am I correct? Sure, it indeed will never provide the same protection as a full face / integral helmet. But I guess that the front structure indeed offers some protection and is therefore not comparable to a simple jet helmet. Right? Wrong?
