- We are down to 16 in one of the most exciting and high stakes 4.60 nitrous drag bike race we have seen from the NHDRO “Big Show” from Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Ind. Young Chase Van Zant looks to win his second race after proving to be an ultra quick motorcycle drag racing learner last year, the “Queen of the South” Meghan Bowers looks to match Dystany Spurlock, the first African American female motorcycle racer to win 4.60, and a hungry field of nitrous Suzuki GS and Kawasaki KZ / Z1 drag bike racers, including Chad “Doghouse” Otts, Boo Brown, J. Lundy, Terry Hoke, Tom “KZ” Acres, Mac “General Lee” McAdams, B. Foster, “Smokin” Joe Rodney, Jeff Jones of Timblin Chassis Racing, Broderick “Hollywood” Jackson, C. I bet you didn't know if she went back to Africa, she would be treated badly and completely unaccepted! Saying a black female is ok but why any title at all? James with all due respect I lean on her to decide if the title is offensive. She is an awesome lady and racer and is ok with this. We did an in-depth interview that is coming soon. Drag racing is a wonderfully diverse sport.

Why does it matter that she was African American. Why can't it be just Girl Power not race power. And thats why we are the way we are as a society. No one gave the first WHITE GIRL props. That's just supporting racism .

Race and, or gender is meaningless in Drag Racing. There were female drivers at the first ever drag race event.
So is she African or American, can't be both? Also, they are geographic locations, not a race......
