I met a young girl at Numidia drag strip in Pa. It was Harley event and she had 3 bikes competing. It was a pleasure to meet her and she is very chatty and friendly.
I’ll be honest here I’m scared of my 107 s&s long wheel base chopper on the streets. I’m proud u can handle a 131 s&s short wheel base on the strip. Good for u! Much respect to u!

@@cycledrag I couldn`t say for sure. But, I reckon pretty much anything will do. If it`s got a bit too much power just dial it down, and start with baby steps for improvements, build confidence.

Honda CB750 2 or 4 valve, 650/900/1000 Kawasaki or older 750/1000 GS 2 valve Suzuki. If you're the Harley type, any engine size aluminum headed XL Sportster. My thoughts behind these bikes are ease of building, tuning, and maintaining. Lots of inexpensive, used bikes and parts as well. SARGE.
We need a channel that talks about the bikes. The engine size, compression, ignition choice & why. Who made the frame. Show & talk about the primary, clutch set-up, etc. Guys who watch channels like this don't care about non stop fluff.
@@cycledrag Ain't no thing, Jack. I've lost "identifying" ability of even many newer harleys. I graduated AMI in Daytona Beach in 1977, worked at a Triumph dealer then my own shop. AMI is long gone, MMI sorta came from there, the Triumph dealer from the 70's is gone, where we worked on everything. I've had one Honda 305 Super Hawk, five Sporty's, and one '70 Shovelhead. Worked on many big bore conversions in late 70's. Kawasaki, Honda, Triumph Bonny's and Tridents. Can't hardly recognize most made after 80's as to models. Finishing up my '69 Sporty dragbike now. Bought this in 1975. Can't wait to break in and get to track. NHRA #1952. First re-built and stroked engine in 1980. Now at 67, I can finally re-do bike like I wanted to originally. I raced a sporty back in 1980-1983 and cars since I obtained license in Jan 1969, and can't wait to get back. Unfortunately or not, at todays cost for parts, $360 for JE Pistons, $100 for Total Seal rings, $600 for Baisley Roller rockers, etc, etc, I've basically built two bikes. One for track, and with road wheels and tires, different handlebars, larger gas tank, I'm ready to ride on road and properly break-in everything before track. Can switch bike in about four hours. It's all good. I really admire your coverage of our sport, and spend alot of time watching CycleDrag. Thanks, Jack.

What is it? Looked like Sportster bodywork to me.
Sporty's have combined engine and tranny in one case. Have to look at engine. Like this bike, many people run sporty gas tanks. Can be misleading.
Billy Sweiger it’s an S&S motor. In drag racing, often the body style dictates what make the bike is referred to as.
