Great job accelerating in ECON mode to merge into traffic!!! You just showed everyone that not every car is a race car and not everyone NEEDS a race car. Many of us older viewers drove cars for decades without a lot of these “toys.” Features are great but sometimes when you break out the calculator they just don’t add up between models. Sometimes your calculator tells you that you are spending hundreds or even thousands for one or two toys you don’t really need. Honda is offering real value in the Accord line up. Great job showing us what so many other channels are missing!
I love your comment. I am just a regular driver. That wants something that’s nice, reliable, and can perform. Hearing the complaints I feel like they want this to be a Ferrari. I have no need to dart in and out of traffic. I just want a review without all of the extra emotions. I am new to Honda and I don’t know what was and nor do I care. This car in black will be mine.
@@Kinja_ i think a vehicle and the internet are two different things, you do need both in some ways, but there's only one internet with over a 1000 vehicles to choose from. so when it comes to a car, there are things you can live without, but some things are necessary to have. having hands free calling is a welcome addition, not to mention being able to plug your phone into a USB, basically just things that most people would use. however there are alot of things in modern cars, that people barely use. android auto and apple carplay are nice features to have, it's certainly better than paying a subscription, but there's a catch even with carplay. so when it comes to those features, it really comes down with which one you can live with. i personally don't need either one, most phones have a free built in navigation. my iPhone 14 does, but if i wanna use carplay, i can as long as im okay with paying a little extra.
GenXtra65: well econ mode is really good if you're wanting to save on fuel, most modern cars are pretty good on gas. but yes alot of us did drive without that, but it's not so much a race car, but it's the reason you have 3 or sometimes even 4 drive modes. comfort, sport, and normal. sometimes it'll say eco, all sport mode does is give more throttle response, but im never in that hurry of driving. plus i don't like when the throttle is that sensitive, because if you're not careful you can easily go over the speed limit. normal mode is like the best of both worlds, but i like it better in the city and around town.
I just bought one. Exactly the same as this one. Its a very nice car for a base model. 32mpg average, comfortable, nice ride. I do wish the stereo was a bit better bit thats about it.
@@eddieh3580 fair enough. I have the ex, test drove the lx. Still basically the same car. Not really much difference until you get to the sport and touring models.
I just bought a 2024 EX. It does have a lot of tire noise on the highway. A little disappointed but its pretty much in all vehicles in the price range. It does have a special windshield that blocks wind noise which works great
Nice review. On the last generation Accord a heated leather steering wheel was a dealer installed option. Not sure why it's not offered now. Chip shortage maybe?
boooooo. great review my brother but I'm still in love with my 2018 accord with the 2.0 turbo 6 SPEED MANUAL. if i could have one thing from the 2023 version into my 2018 will be the full screen cluster display, other than that there’s nothing else i would change about my car
@@NothinButCarReviews Kia K5 GT LINE with premium package. Has absolutely everything thats missing here, AND MORE. and a spare tire..and a real 8 speed automatic, no CVT!
I just got one of these 2023 Accords and I'm absolutely in love with it. Every time I walk up to it I cant stop saying what a bad ass car it is!!
I saw one at a Target parking lot recently. Brought a smile to my face just looking at it even tho it wasn’t mine. Nice vehicle.

There’s a lot of stuff we don’t need like the internet… But hey we only live one life so why not enjoy the good things in life?

Good reviews
That's so crazy, I'm watching a review of a car I'm buying, with a guy that's driving where I drive to get my car washed in Tennessee 😂
This or the nissan altima? What are your thoughts?
I like Accord better, but only because I like turbo engines better. If you get the VC-Turbo Altima, that’s my favorite.
@@NothinButCarReviews would you say there are differences in the ride quality?
Did Nissan fix the CVT transmission? I had an Altima for 8 years really liked it until all the transmission issues.

Exactly....cheap cheap and cheaper
Why doesn't it come with Manual transmission ?

I’m not sure, automakers been doing weird stuff due to chip shortage. 😂🤷🏾♂️
