I followed this to get a better stab at replacing the radiator. Absolutely necessary, dropping the bumper made it possible to reach those lower screws. Thanks!
No problem. I figure that you and one other guy on here saved me $800 between labor and then having to discharge the condenser per standard procedure. Which is ridiculous when you can literally move it 🤦♂️🤣
The wires that broke were to the shutter blades it has in the front for ventilation to the cooling system. I fixed them and took care of the issue I was having
@@559powerscape I crashed the drivers side of my car and the same wires were cut. Does that mean my car will now overheat? If I dont have a ventilation fan?
it shouldn't just probably cause a check engine light to come on. the coolant system is a whole other system. You can try connecting the wires together...just match up the same colors, twist them together and tape them and after a while the check engine light should hopefully turn off. Good Luck!
@@559powerscape Ahh thank you! Im gonna get it fixed soon but thankfully I will be able to drive it without it overheating. Thank you so much I am so grateful for your response ❤️
I already take out the front bum per several time is a nightmare i purchase a car to be repaired for myelf and is good now but i have to take the front bumper one more time to replace the 2017 2018 JEEP CHEROKEE GRILLE SHUTTER ASSEMBLY because the engine light is still light all the time and the computer show is the only problem the car have right now
Yes I agree especially anything dodge, Jeep, Chrysler & fiat related their engineers design everything to make it 10x harder to fix a simple issue. It's designed so you have to take it to them and they charge an arm and a leg to fix it Unfortunately

Where the fog lights that bumper put it down instead of the whole bumper ?
Can I removed the the lower part of the bumper black part instead of the whole bumper an install an air shuttle
Thanks for the info George!
Your welcome, im glad this helped. Thank you for your Support 🙏
Is the cord that broke to the fan ... Is that cord for the air conditioner or is that for the cars coolant system?

is it possible to just take the black part off? trying to replace the control arm and a bolt is under the bumper how would we get it off?
I dont think so, i think its all one piece. The whole bumper would have to come off unfortunately
Damn. I'm working on the control arms for this thing too. Glad someone confirmed I do have to take the bumper off.
Can I just come to you ?
Lol sorry I don't have a shop I just work at a dealership and fix the cars than need fixing
This is why I hate American cars, so stupid. Have to do this to take the lower control arm off. Designed to be thrown away, not repaired.
