Howdy, very curious about using a Connex quick link. Does it stay on well during mountain biking, or would it be to easy to fall apart? Keep up the great videos.

I’ve only run it on single speed so I think the true test is something with a derailer. I’m borrowing my neighbors 1x7 next week, maybe I’ll try this master link on it. Thanks for the comment!

The master links are good but are directional .

Never had an issue with them, though need to be right way up or they skip on an 11 cog. Easy to join and rejoin often, by hand without need for pliers, great for hot waxing as can be reused for life of chain. Their chains last well and don't rust easily.

@@draugmithrin Sometimes the chain may jump on the smallest rear cog upon re-installation once only , to "FULLY SET" into position . The manufacturer told me this is normal .

The link slots have to fitted 'frown down' when on the bottom chain span. Also the chain speed is stamped into the side of both of the halves of the link and the text is the correct way up ( readable ) . There is a small bar stamped underneath the chain speed text when the chain is on the bottom span. All of this is the same if you view the chain from either side of the bike !
