I've often thought about drilling one big hole right in the center and loading up a stick of dynamite. We could be picking up bits of Thor's Blood from that area for years😂 But yeah, FS won't let me blast.
@bustedhammer the micro-blasters don't require special permits to use unlike other explosive devices. And the FS crews have been using them to assist in trail maintenance without closing the trail for more than a few yards.
Fun to see some serious rock men at work! That good stuff doesn’t come easy does it? I hope to get out this week.
@@Henry-405 I just watched, so I didn't work up a sweat
What a rock....Cant wait to find some monsters like that out here in the Olympics. Thanks for all of the hard-work out there, be safe have fun.
I have found some huge ones over the years and there are many more to be found. Happy Rockhounding!
It's time to use the microblasters instead of a couple of feathers/wedges!
@@lorenmerriman8439 I think the Forest Service would have a fit

@@bustedhammerI have a bag of feathers and wedges, and would be happy to assist on a weekend, especially when I dont have any field-trips planned :)
@lorenmerriman8439 that's funny because they won't even let him clear anything that might resemble a trail.
