Rallying a Subaru Forester Toaster

Sam Hadley affectionately calls his Subaru Forester the Toaster. His first event in the car was Round 4 of the Whiteline Tarmac Rallysprint Series. We spoke to Sam to find out a little more about him and his toaster.

You don't need to be an experienced rally driver to compete at the Whiteline Tarmac Rallysprint. In fact you only need to be over 14 years old to compete . So if you want to drive your standard, modified, race or rally car fast on a road circuit in a safe and controlled environment, then you should come to the Whiteline Tarmac Rallysprint Series held in Sydney on a weeknight each month during summer.

Man this year of the forester is perfect, it's not as big as modern suvs, it's actually quite small when you see them in person, very practical, lots of space.
A stock xt engine has plenty of power but the sky is the limit you can swap anything into them.
They look really nice look nice and aggressive. Set it up for a fast track car, or lift it a bit and make it a rally or off road car.
