@@TheHonestAudiophile Watch your review weeks ago and made a move for a used set on ebay. Just ordered a quality pure silver cable on aliexpress to unlocked the sweetness that the std copper cable lacks.
@@TheHonestAudiophile I had to return it. The silver cable performed at the highest level, but the roland felt like a ferarri with a 2 cylinder engine running on low octane fuel. I have made the decision to purchase only single driver iem's going forward. Purchaed a 7Hz zero to replace the rowland that join my blon 03. 3rd set should be ordered this weekend. I feel that the character and experience of music can enjoyed on a budget.
Good to see you so enthusiastic, and actually laugh a little!! I just completed my reviews of the Fearless Audio Provence and Shangri-La for Headphonesty. Would love to hear the Roland!
@@TheHonestAudiophile I'm curious about the Barcelona from your perspective. It's the entry of the Colorful World Series and quite the other end of the spectrum from the Roland. That said, the 3 in the CW Series are definitely distinct from one another.
Honestly, I’ve enjoyed most of your videos but I have no idea how you found this iem to have “good air sparkle.” It.. does not have treble lol. That’s just me though. Carry on, enjoy your content overall.
Going off graphs only sure they seem to lack treble. But if you listen to the Roland with the wide bore tips and a neutral source the treble is present in a natural way. Have you actually heard the Roland?
@@TheHonestAudiophile Yup I’ve heard it :). Not my thing, but to each their own. I find it performs pretty far below their price point. I really do like your content so not trying to be too critical, just don’t think it has great treble extension.. and that’s putting it kind of lightly. Roland’s midrange is solid though!
Everyone hears differently for sure. Roland for sure isn't elevated and boosted like the majority of gear available. But it is natural and accurate in my opinion. Very source picky and also music dependent.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Definitely agree that audio is subjective. I do however think there’s a difference between not elevated, and almost non-existent. While Roland does have a bit of lower treble, it basically fully drops off in the upper treble. At very high volumes or using eq it can sound okay, but even compared to darker iems I think it’s a bit extreme. Also I think I’d be less harsh on it if it weren’t $1,000. Imo it just doesn’t quite compete in that price range.
I've reviewed a few tribrid IEM but most are higher dollar budget from Empire Ears, etc. If other tribrids are provided I'll for sure check the out and review.
I appreciate your honesty and I understand that the Roland isn't in everyone's budget. Since you took the effort to type out a comment you could just let the video play through so it helps with the watch time average.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Yes, my son can buy them for me when I go in the home! :-) You aren't there yet. You have to make sure you have enough money when you don't know when? There's only one person that knows that and it isn't you and it isn't me.

Just wanted to know if the roland's still in your rankings of being reference?
@@gracefullygraceful9776 Roland are a good reference for tone and timbre in an IEM.

I’m so glad you pointed out the use of wide bore tips. It’s literally night and day 👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!

.Awesomeness 😎Barcelona video is coming soon. Haven't heard Provence or Shngri-La

Naturalness is one of the most important points for an iem to have.
Absolutely agree 💯
Hope you review Dunu Titan S and Letshuoer S12 aka Shuoer S12.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll see about getting them in for review.
Love the review. A little too rich for my blood though.
Totally understand about the price. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Review tripowin lea
Thanks for the suggestion, hopefully one will be provided for review.
Have you tried saying the cable description 5 times fast in a row yet?
Too funny 😂 Thanks 👍
Out of my budget atm but they look really nice. The Monarch MK2 seems to be the go-to IEM at $1000 but not a fan of that dirt brown color scheme.
I haven't heard the Monarch MK2 but would love an opportunity to hear and review it.

Price ?
See description for link to Linsoul and you'll find the price is $1009.
I suggest you do a review on the NiceHck DB1, they are neutral-ish iem with good detail retrieval for a budget iem
Thanks for the recommendation.
FYI, qudelix-5k back in stock...
Any plans to review other tribreds? I think this may be the first I’ve seen on your channel

I know a good set's a good set...but is this antique's road show?..I didn't even know Fearless still made these 🤷♂
I think they are a Hype Train ...... Stick with the area where most people are in 2022 and that's under $300.00 US dollars .....
Don't worry there are plenty of budget friendly gear to review as well; this channel covers a broad range of budgets.
i uh, not seeing the point why this set is good
good content still, respect your honesty
