Thank you so much for sharing this, I should do this before upload my travel video on instagram. I dont want to crop my video become vertical, and split screen method is the best idea. I still have to learn more features from videopad editor instead of download another software

I've added the 2 videos as explained, but moving them to center them is simply not an option. what did I miss???

One year bevor I made this without problems but now... when I use the splitscreen Effekt there is a little Black line between the clips... it doesnt matter hpw I switch the Clips around - there is the little Black line between the clips. Alltags the same size. When that Was an Update, it was an ugly Update... that Ruins the Magic :D

I'm trying for 30 minutes but it just won't do it. both tracks look split to the correct side in the editing bar at the bottom, but in my preview only track 1 will play. it is centered but the screen is cut in half. also, I can't adjust position on the video preview screen. the tutorial looks easy, and I've started from the beginning several times, but it just won't work for me . . .

finally! my problem was I was not adding files, but trying to work with a clip I had cut into 2 halves, and trying to show the 2 halves at the same time. I had to export them as files individually, then i could open them as individual files and get the split screen working. still, could not re-center the files as shown in this tutorial.

Is it possible to split the screen horizontally? like one video on top of the other instead of side by side?

You can split screen horizontally or even grid format with multiple videos

How do you split screen with text? One side is text and the other side is video.
