Paul my father was a welder in a stainless steel factory that manufactured milk coolers and other various tanks. My brothers and I grew up with a Lincoln stick welder in the garage and dad was all the time welding things for himself and others that had problems. My biggest regret was that I never had him teach me to weld. He passed away from pancreatic cancer and I lost that opportunity to learn something that could be beneficial for years to come. Thanks for your good work in teaching your family!

I loved how Dr Wades boy was just sitting on the kitchen table (the operating table😊) holding the flashlight and digging the whole event. Was not his first rodeo holding the light for dad.

I wouldn't be too harsh on him, I don't think anyone is ever really ready to raise children.
Many people told me that I was too harsh, but I wasn't simply raising good children, I was trying to prepare young men & women to thrive in the often harsh world around them. Overall, I'm pleased with the results. All are married and raising their own children, using many of the same rules they once hated.
I must admit that I really enjoy hearing my words coming out of their mouth, but I didn't invent them, many of those quotes came from the old men that influenced me!
In the end, just try to do the best you can raising your children.

On a farm that I worked on in high school, I was chasing hogs from a field into a cattle lane between two fields. The entrance to this lane was a 6' wide hole cut out of the farm fence, unknown to me the top wire was left uncut (remember this) to help maintain the fence tension. A mud hole had developed in that entrance to the lane. As the hogs ran through, I followed in close pursuit only to catch that wire right above the bridge of my nose, did I mention that I was in the air trying to jump over the mud puddle? Not as bad a cut as yours but you know how forehead cuts always look worse than they really are when bleeding.
Kudos for the son's welding, he's been paying attention.

I have always said I don't like or want kids...but this is just so great that it honestly makes me debate. Paul is a great role model.

Great job of making sure safety rules are followed. PPE is paramount in the "shop" process!

Loved the Dr. Wade part. My dad was a doctor in the outback of Australia... he did surgery in the kitchen! for emergencies. That is some truck. Vikings buried warriors with their ships... you'd have to bury me with that truck if it was mine...

I was glad to see Lando welding. I have been wondering if he could. When he gets some confidence going, he will probably be pretty good. He is already a heck of a lot better than I would be. I like that Paul is making him do some of the work on the truck instead of just building it for him.

Paul love how Landon is learning life’s good lessons on vehicle build and repair , plus his welding is better than mine , I’m jealous!!
Myself as a father of girls also taught them how to with cars, but it’s still nice to get that call from them even now 30 years later asking what’s the best way to fix this or that.
Train up a child in the way of the lord and they will always remember.
Great job Paul with your hand. Scares tell a story that is never forgotten
    God bless

when finding degrees of the headache rack you used the tool to find 75 degrees, then you said the degree is 25... but its 15 degrees because you take 75 from 90, not 100 degrees.

I was following along at 15:19 and doing the math in my head until he said "should be 25 degree angle". Wait a minute! That's not right! Maybe it's 'cause you're gettin' old. 😁

Lol. Yeah, I had to rewind and listen again to be sure he hadn't referenced 75" or something. And then when he tried it on, I was really hoping I'd see an "OOPS!!!" pop-up on the video. Lol. "Guess it should have been 20°" 😂
Love the video. Y'all do great work!

Michelle's commercials OMG! Matt in a fluffy blue bath robe, now Papa Dar in a wig. Run Paul run!
Too bad Paul n' Landon's work schedules are not closer. Paul could do less work and Landon could get more learning. 😃
