|| THIS EPISODE || After dealing with our blowout in the last episode and getting 4 new Goodyear Endurance tires at America’s Tire (Discount Tire), we headed off toward Zion National Park in Utah! We had been waiting for this trip since we first hit the road.
We stayed at Watchman Campround for Jess’ birthday which is also Veteran’s Day and enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage in Utah!
Zion Aventures got us hooked up with dry suits, socks, boots and sticks to check out the The Narrows, a hike that has been on our list for forever! Be sure to check them out and get all the equipment you need the next time you are in Zion!

What did you guys think of the GoPro 360 footage? Good or disorienting? 🤔
They way it messed with your hand was weird. The footage looked pretty good. Seemed really stable.
Good choice updating the GoPro very crisp clear colors and a awesome view
It looked awesome
I think it looked orangey. At first I thought it was the fall colors, but when inside it's orangey.
I think it was great on shots with scenery/panoramic views. The fish eye effect was a little weird on shots with people as the main focal point. Great video; it looked like something you will not soon forget.
I have lived in Utah all my life. If you liked the feeling of hiking the narrows in Zion, but want to stay out of the water...check out the Escalante Area. A boat load of great slot canyons-super awesome camping and loads of beautiful scenery. I love Zions, but the Escalante/Calf Creek Area is where I head every time. Thanks for the Zion Hike.
Utah is such an amazing state. We still have so much to explore there, including Escalante. Would love to hear of your favorite places and hikes there if you wouldn't mind sharing! Hubby and I did this hike in February 2021 without doing the water portion. It was amazing. I have multiple sclerosis and it was easy for me. I just took my time and I felt so good and accomplished after. We stayed on the path for the hike up and we walked back along the river for a little more excitement. I just love all of your videos and photography. ♥️ Keep up the adventures.

I think we passed you in the Narrows. We had backpacking permits and did a overnight from top to bottom. Early bird gets the worm when it comes to Zion. We did the whole park (4 days) for free. Boondocked at Hurricane Cliffs. - Scott

Wow beautiful all through this video I have the song by Boney title" rivers of Babylon" going through my head in the song they sing it in 1978 down by the river of Zion where we sat down yeah yeah we remember Zion I don't know if you've heard the song but if you haven't try looking it up it's a beautiful song thank you for bringing this place to me I never knew this place existed

It is a beautiful hike to the end of the trail to the narrows and well worth doing.

Hey Corey and Jessie and girls....your usual excellent footage.....We did the Narrows two Julys ago before Covid, and what crowds!!!!!Had six Families with many little ones so couldn't go as far....was nice seeing all we missed and the Fall colors....All the best from Hank and Pam of South Texas...still feel that we are along for the ride...

The 360 is not as good as your other, but I think we knew that would be the case. And, there would be NO WAY I would expect you to take the other camera gear into the Narrows. Thank you for adding the footage. Was still a beautiful show! I wish my family was adventurous as yours. I have been to Zion, but had to go by myself since no one wanted to make the trip. I'd say, if you have the physical capabilities to get passed the crowds, Zion may be heaven on earth.

We also didn't have the right pole so the software couldn't quite stitch it correctly. Hopefully it will work better in future videos. So glad you have been able to see it for yourself! I like the GoPro 360 footage, especially when you were holding it up above you. Some of it was disorienting, but I liked it anyway. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. The dry suits were great! The full suit wasn't absolutely necessary but definitely made the trip more fun! The girls would want them again if we went back! They loved floating on our way back. Glad you likes the 360 footage. Editing from that camera is different so it will take a little bit to get the hang of it, but I do like the new perspective it gives, especially in places where I can't drone. Hope you guys have a great time out there next year!

Wow great video! My family and I took a trip out to Utah this past March and had a great time. We went to Zion but couldn't get a RV site in the park so we stayed at a RV park in Springdale right outside of the south entrance. It was actually really nice. We had a site on the river and had easy access to the park.
I love to see and hear the joy surrounding you. I've been to Zion several times but never had as much fun as you guys do
PnlyNational Parks I've been to only onceare Craters of The Moon in Idaho & Sequuoia National Park in California .

We were just there last week and did Angels Landing, but not the Narrows because we felt the same way, we wanted to be in good shape for it and not tired from a hike the day before. Beautiful scenery. We were there in early May a few years ago and got up to the narrows but did not hike into the narrows.

Cory I'm proud of you Fellow Veteran . Cory I like your glasses . They look good on you . Did you wear glasses in the Navy ? I started wearing glasses all the time in the Air Force . I get my glasses from the Tampa VA Eye Clinic & hearing aids also from the Tampa VA Audiology Dept . They both are free . For my glasses the only thing I pay for is the anti-reflective coating . I've been made medically necessary for Varilux Progressive lenses . Do you wear progressive lenses in your glasses ? What type of contacts do you wear ? I have dry eyes so I don't know if I can wear contacts anymore. Decades ago I use to wear Bausch & Lomb soft contacts that I had an electric sterilizer for . OH MY GOSH !! guys Zion National Park is gorgeous . Cory do you know that for us VETERANS The National Park Pass is now free for us ? No more paying $80 . 00 for it annually .

First I would like to say from the bottom of my heart I appreciate & love you guys. I am disabled and can barely walk but when I watch your videos it's like I am walking right beside you. This one put a tear in my eye because it was like I was right there. The 360 cameras make for some interesting footage as it makes your hand look like it's only half there. The GoPro. 360 footage was definitely a different perspective.It takes getting use to.
It takes a bit to learn how to edit as it is a totally different process than with regular footage. Working on making it a smoother transition next time! Thanks for watching!
Oh my goodness! Amazing footage! You guys are the best out there. Thank you so much for sharing with the rest of us! I had to laugh at you all floating down the river. It brought back memories of wearing dry suits while jet skiing on the Columbia River. We'd ride out and jump the huge ocean liner's wakes. You can't swim in a dry suit when there is too much air in it.

Zion is my favorite national park , the narrows is a great hike and you can camp by the arch but if memory serves it’s over 7 miles from the trailhead . The last time I did that hike my kids and I brought inner tubes and floated a lot of the return trip , was fun .

Loved this video Corey! I’ve been to Zion a few times I love it there. Never went through the narrows. I mean not as far as you went. Went through them but not too far in. It’s a nice hike. You get soar after a while. We camped there but somewhere close to Zion and then another time we went we stayed at the hotel. And we ate across the street from the hotel. I loved there. So glad we have a park like that. The GoPro you used worked great! You did great Corey. I was laughing you all floating in the suits but Jess.Thank you for taking us on this great adventure. We did Zion in April. We rode our e-bikes up to the Narrows early morning. It was amazing and it felt like the park was ours. Too many people were hiking the narrows so we did the river walk and then the emerald pools. Top 5 for sure! Love the suits 😂😂
Sound amazing! We want to get back and do Subway and Emerald Pools as well as Angels Landing SOMEDAY!
Another great video as always love the new camera so funny when you guys are putting on your dry suits we use them up in Wisconsin when we go through the ice and up to 40° when you put your head through the next seal the standing joke is now you know how it is to be born

Great video! All the videos I’ve seen of the Narrows before yours didnt cover the option of drysuits and drypants, or cover it in as much detail as you did, so thank you for sharing :-)
I appreciate the compliment, good to hear! I usually feel like we don’t ever give enough information! Next time we do it, we will probably just go for the dry pants. Although the kids will probably argue for the dry suits so they could float again😃

My husband and I hiked Zion twice. It’s one of our favorite national parks. We did Angels landing on the first trip and the narrows last July. Both were bucket list hikes. We did the watchmen trail as a warm up hike. It was more challenging than I expected. COVID affected lots of aspects of our trip but we conquered the narrows😳. Love your videos

My dad's birthday is November 11th, he worked for the state DNR as the lead pilot so it was always a paid day off for him....great video Zion is definitely on our list to make it to just waiting for solar jobs to take us that direction....
