sheesh, not talking about this video - everyone has their own infomercial it seems these days. Everybody trying to hustle some sort of scam - just referring to the commercials on youtube. Even us commoners can now try to hustle the masses. Thank you for this video - needed this! Blessings!

    Nice. Thanks for the video.
Gorilla glue is garbage. It's always worth the extra dough for Permatex.

I had to get another headliner I’ve got a 98 extended cab 4x4 xlt and I tried to take the fabric off and the whole headliner came apart in pieces. I’ve found several in wrecking yards. It’s over $300 for a new one and I’m not paying that. Good video and thanks. 🙏

My plan, and no I haven't done this yet, but I plan to remove the head liner fabric and spray the under liner with headliner adhesive (several coats) an then use a spray rubber material like "Flex Seal" to the underliner. In theory that should leave me with a headliner that has a tough durable coating that will never sag. My interior has many black accents so I think it should match ok.

O and I have a head lamp from an 1978 Lincoln Continental that was used in many different vehicles including F150s to update the existing single bulb and very dull original.

Are you going to convert the other trim pieces to black also? Could be cool to do the carpet and everything.

Would like to but definitely alot of work and paint on some trim pieces probably wouldn’t last so idk

Do you have a link to the headliner? I swapped out my old seats from my 2000 with some from a 2004 ranger (black and gray). This would match it real nice.

I have a standard 1994 Ford Ranger XLT with only 130,000 miles on it. Just replaced the timing belt, but the mechanic told me that i shouldnt put any more money into it after that :/ I bought it used specifically because i thought it would last for 5 more years at least but the mechanic was guessing only a year more and im upset because all other mechanics told me otherwise. My family thinks i should just finance a new truck but fuck that shit is it seriously such a bad idea to keep this old truck and fix it as it needs??? I am not a mechanic but im trying to learn.

Keep it and learn as you go as long as you’re prepared to do so. Thats how you learn!!

I have owned 3 of these rangers and I disagree .....they will run forever. in fact I gifted my son a 94 for graduation 5 years ago after owning it 7 years....still runs and I would drive it anywhere. 250k. don't listen. these trucks will run forever

Why only a year more? Whats the ranger doing or not doing? My guess is that mechanic is a little slow... since i became a mechanic i learned good mechanics are a 1 on a million and good car owners are more rare than that.
Take care or that truck and itll take care of you. Set what you would pay for a monthly payment aside for emergency repairs (worse case senario engine or trans swaps) and it would still be thousands if not tens of thousands cheaper than a new financed car. In face the only way id agree with that mechanic is if the ranger is gotten sevier rust or frame issues

My 94 rangers at 230k miles and it still runs like a dream that mechanic is tweaking these trucks are built to last
