Because Restoration of Eiganjo has the "When you do => [do stuff]" that line actually creates a separate trigger on the stack after you discard as part of resolving the first line, and you only target then. (I know the SCG guys already know this, it's mostly in case anyone else plays this awesome card later and wants to know how to resolve it) This also means you can respond to the second trigger with Graveyard removal to give the trigger no legal targets. The Restoration of Eiganjo can return the same card you discarded. The wording "When you do" creates a separate trigger, and the card you discarded is in your graveyard and potentially a legal target for it (if it costs 2 or less).

I love that Jon said one of his favorite things to do is Pyromancy + Draco. I have a Pyromancy/Draco constructed deck that I've had since Urza Legacy release. Obviously I had to wait until Planeshift for Draco. But even back in the Urza Block days it worked great! I used Phoenices. Like Shard Phoenix and Shivan Phoenix. Lava Axe was great. Pyromancy has always been one of my All time favorite magic cards. This was a great game. Looking forward to the rest of SCG season 30.
a suggestion for a fun commander play: You all get your favorite decks or decks you really enjoy, then you pass all of them to the right, it makes the game really fun and super neat!

I still think it makes you look like a fine, distinguished gentleman.
Corry's attack on jeremy wasn't lethal. Jermey could block the parhelion, the zombie with counters, greasfang, and scrap trawler, only taking 11 from the 2 angels and fox. Therefore Stephen's fog wasnt a save right?
This is going to be my first full season I'm catching from the beginning, so I'm really excited. I literally watched a commander video for 2 minutes before immediately hitting that sub and like on that video! Here to stay and watch a whole new season of awesome! Also, y'all should make decks around the transformers cards! Ultra Magnus, Optomus, Megatron, and the last one I always forget... Would love to see it be one of the episodes this season.
I'm not sure Jeremy was dead to Cory's attack, he could block Parhelion and Greasefang and two other ground attackers, the two angels would've gotten through but I'm not sure 8 more damage would've connected. If Jeremy could've blocked and not died would Stephen still get the point for saving him?

In this video he wasnt. He was targeting Jon like he does most games, which leads to Jon obviously not enjoying the game. Casual Commander is about being able do something, which Corey didn't let him do. It might have been the best play, but at a casual table it's about the enjoyment of the game, not the best move sometimes.

I’ve done exactly that. I discarded a land to an empty graveyard and brought it back as kind of a ramp thing.

Losing life and taking damage are different things. Dictate of the Twin Gods doesnt cause "life loss" to double. Only "damage dealt"

I really dislike Corey as a player. Brining a competitive mindset to casual Commander is not enjoyable to watch.
