Did this today. Out of the factory the screws were to lose. Almost no loctite. So i lubricated the bearings some more and screwed it back together. Loctite dried and the bladegrips did not move freely. Rounded of one of the crews trying te get it lose again with what was in hindsight a worn out allenwrench. Ordered a good set of allen drivers yesterday which arrived today. Got the assembly lose again and found out why it did not move freely. Assumably used to much loctite on the screws and it got on the open thrust bearings as well. Didn’t exactly use a ton, but i guess its a narrow margin. Cleaned it al up and put it together again. When i tighten the screws all the way, it still doesn’t move as freely as in your situation. I had to loosen the screws somewhat for that. Because of the loctite it shouldn’t matter to much i hope. I think design wise it would have been better if they used closed bearings. Less fiddely as well. I checked al the crews on the heli, and they all got to little loctite or no loctite at all, where the instructions say they should.

Roll your feathering or main shaft on glass to TRULY see if it is bent. 👍🏼👍🏼
Sure but you have to take it out. 9 out of 10 I can tell if it’s bent the way I show within a minute.
