I live in Sheridan and am a musician. Have played many weddings at Eatons. You gave me a whole new perspective on our surrounding country! Loved going along for the ride!! You hit a green time of year.
They are the Bighorn Mountains and Cloud Peak, around 13,000 feet is it's jewel, Wolf Ranch being about 25 miles due north of that peak... Incredible and fairly unknown country as the NW of Wyoming gets all the attention... the Wind River Range is awesome...
The view starting at about 16:50 is two miles south of and across the valley to the east from the Hole in the Wall Trailhead & Viewpoint...About 8 miles south of the stunning Hole in the Wall Ranch...A little known gem of a region highlighted by it's reddish color on Google Earth, due south of the Bighorn Mountains.
Wow. New favorite channel. Incredible. And hes sayin this isn't even as good of quality as usual? Well I know what I'm doing for the next few hours haha
Eaton'a Ranch is fantastic! My first visit was in 1959, and I go back every couple years. Those canyons you flew through were awesome! Hope you go back and shoot more.
Wonderful country up there! You might not have been fully cameraed up, but you still did a great job, and that canyon flying was really full-on! Like you say, you'll have to get back there sometime...
Hey Professor!! If Todd decides to go back up there, perhaps it'll be to get married. Not too many know this about me, but I've been an ordained minister for over 20 years. Done a few ceremonies over that time, but it would be cool to do Todd's ceremony at that ranch!! I'll make sure you get an invitation!!
Thanks for sharing another awesome video! Even with 7,000 acres, the ranch wouldn't let land there? Thanks again. BTW - The canyon carving was hard to watch. To me, it looked REALLY tight!
So there is one area that would be landable. But they have enough cows / horses around they are kind of uneasy about it. I think I could talk them into it, but I wouldn't want to leave the plane there to get rubbed on by the cows. It was pretty tight! but the camera adds to that notion.. thx!
С большим удовольствием посмотрел прекрасные ландшафты и профессиональное пилотирование. Это моя несбыточная мечта к сожалению. But Я теперь даже не ползу, а просто "лежу" в направлении мечты))
I just threw a few up on there after seeing this msg.. thank you for the suggestion! (have not seen them in person though yet, I do order samples of stuff to make sure they are ok, but have not with these)
Hey Janet, thanks! This one has 13 gal wing tanks and a 2 gal header I built and put under the rear baggage. 28 isn’t bad… I’d like to have about 30-32, but 28 has worked well.
Unfortunately not. Physically it could be done, but concerns for guests, cattle, horses etc. I landed at Sheridan... which with the weather coming through and possible hail that weekend.. wasn't all bad. (stuck it in the FBO hangar, they are pretty reasonable for a night or two).
Thank you for thinking of us. Amazing!

That’s neat you have done weddings over at Eatons! Thanks Janette! Appreciate the comment.
At least we know you are going back to get some great video of it all.
That is beautiful country!
Looks like NO fly wind in your closing scene.
Subbed from the race week video on 1320. What an incredible way to see the country!
I agree!!! Thank you for the sub!
Awesome! Thank you for taking us with you!
More great footage. Canyon flying looks awesome.
That tall mountain range with lots of snow looks like the Wind River Range, the tallest mountains in Wyoming, taller than the Tetons.

That's awesome. Landed off airport first time last fall and am hooked. Always a bummer when I have to come home and land on pavement.

You were very close to the Hole in the Wall hide out near Kaysee.
Thanks Todd for another wonderful video. Most of us will never be able to see that kind of beauty, so I really appreciate you showing us. Thanks!

Awesome as usual!

Wow, that was amazing, again. Music is on point again Todd, thanks for sharing. Yes, would love to see more footage from up there.
I subbed after seeing you take Kyle from 1320Video for a ride. Cool stuff brother
right on, thanks Jelly!!
Cool video, great scenery. Too bad you could not land at the Eaton Ranch area.
Great content. Be careful
Wow
My goodness, could have taken off 150 on 6/24 at KSHR.
Thanks for sharing another awesome video! Even with 7,000 acres, the ranch wouldn't let land there? Thanks again. BTW - The canyon carving was hard to watch. To me, it looked REALLY tight!
You're not wrong - I nearly spilt my coffee!

Just checking to see if you had some stickers that match the shirt? Curious from Nashville.
I just threw a few up on there after seeing this msg.. thank you for the suggestion! (have not seen them in person though yet, I do order samples of stuff to make sure they are ok, but have not with these)
Nice flying! What’s the stall speed of your plane? 33mph?
Thanks! Probably mid to upper 30's at a normal flying weight (me, 2/3 fuel, tools, survival gear, some baggage etc.)
Came here from 1320video!
welcome!!!
Outstanding video...How do you have your fuel system set up for the long flights? My S7 only has 18 gal and can get a little tight here in the SW
Hey Janet, thanks! This one has 13 gal wing tanks and a 2 gal header I built and put under the rear baggage. 28 isn’t bad… I’d like to have about 30-32, but 28 has worked well.
1320 Video sent me.
That’s great! Welcome!
Where did you land the plane for the wedding? Were you able to land at the ranch?
Unfortunately not. Physically it could be done, but concerns for guests, cattle, horses etc. I landed at Sheridan... which with the weather coming through and possible hail that weekend.. wasn't all bad. (stuck it in the FBO hangar, they are pretty reasonable for a night or two).
How were the winds coming home?
it got sporty, but not bad... wind was strong, but fairly smooth
